POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

—SPIRIT SHRINKER—

Our second release is a humble collection of songs we wrote between 2017-2023.

We originally recorded most of these songs in 2021 when we were recording our first EP ‘Origins’ but we decided bin them and try a different process for our second release.

These songs are about the cycle of power and corruption, its roots in cynicism and anger, the progression to uprising and revolution, and ultimately again being corrupted by power.

The first and last tracks are among some of the first songs we wrote when we formed, and they still capture the painful uncertainty and fear that 2017 seemed to have an endless supply of.

Secret Cigarette, Wave after Wave and Funeral Procession explore themes of power and corruption and the little lies we tell ourselves and others, all the way from the household, to our government and our institutions.

Turn it all the way up!
We hope you enjoy them as much as we like playing them

Thanks for listing

Wave after Wave, the second single off our upcoming second EP, is coming out next Friday the 10th of May.

Written in 2022, it is a story of uprising, having good intentions yet quickly being corrupted by power and being trapped in that cycle.

You know that we know that you know where to find it. But if you pre-save it via navigating your clicky thing over to the linky thing, that’d be pretty cool of you. by @acidwinters

Ello!

Vin here.

We are playing a last min set tonight at @indianoceanhotel at 8:45.

And a not so last minute set on the 24/8th

Aaaaand a future set on 9/9th.

These are important shows, cos they might be my last.

Matt’s hair is almost as long as mine and I’m afraid once it is, his strength will be unmatched and I will be engulfed in a tangled mess. Help me.
