My love and appreciation for all things nature has inspired me throughout my career. I am an artist of the earth. I am a landscaper.

It is interesting how I find myself surrounded by nature when we travel. Weather it’s Acadia in the summer or St. John in the winter I seem to find myself drawn to national forests. Even when I’m home on Nantucket I’m surrounded by yet another island with over half of it preserved for open space. I consider myself very fortunate to be surrounded by these beautiful preserved open spaces. taken in Saint John, U.S. Virgin Islands by @ackdutra

Defensive battle down to the wire. @ackdutra8 #73 blew up the play for a massive 4th quarter TFL to help @ta_seawolvesfb secure the win! 💯🛡️ by @ackdutra

There are so many reason why I never cut my gardens back until the end of winter. Long after these echinacea flowers have bloomed they still continue to give life and color to the garden. Arguably even more now than when they were in flower. Yeah I know I’m turning into my grandparents watching birds. I guess the apple does not fall far. taken in Nantucket, Massachusetts by @ackdutra

Great job to @ackdutra8 (#73) on the solid blocking and tackling against a tough Williston Northampton team! Good luck tomorrow against Governor’s Academy.
Thank you, @jmase1234 , for taking such great photos!

There is not a better way to remember someone than planting a tree. Diane Coombs was a guardian of trees especially the elm tree. This Elm tree was given to her on her 90th birthday. I am happy to report it is thriving today @coombs5151 taken in Hummock Pond by @ackdutra
