Part of Portrait Masterclass, an Exercise that has become my favourite. The blob of paint that tranforms itself into a character. I love the mistery of it. I love the process of Discovery; who's hiding behind that blob?

I sure have my favourites in that crew. Who is yours? Let me know. Is it:
1) the Faeiry
2) the Warrior
3) Chinese Princess
4) Wonky Athlete
5) Alien
6) Mr Fly
7) the Prince?

The last exercise in @elinaellis and @indigobee.academy Portrait Masterclass: "Draw Yourself as an Old Person"
In the Autumn of my Life, I am a Tree Hugging Bird Lady. It is clearly an optimistic vision as I have enough hair to tie it up 😄

Draw Ugly. As Ugly as you can.

I took part in @elinaellis and @indigobee.academy challenge "Right, Something Ugly"
#iba_portraits

The process proved to be exactly as Elina said it would be... Liberating, Addictive ( it is now going to be part of my daily drawing routine) and A LOT of FUN!

What I discovered along the way? Two areas of challenge:
1) Ears
2) any water soluble medium.

Thank you Elina and thank you to all the random people that were my models. 🥰
