I am so thankful for the woman you are. You are strong, intelligent, the definition of beauty, & a God fearing woman.

You never let a moment be dull, and because of that, you live life to the absolute fullest. Celebrate my birthday in Disney at a Leadership conference…? I’m in

Here’s my top 8 takeaways from the EntreLeadership Summit 2026 :

1. If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its life believing it is stupid.

2. The best leaders ask the right questions.

3. No business ever stood the test of time staying the same. Iteration and change aren’t only necessary for growth but survival.

4. Like childbirth, pain is required for growth and creation. On the other side of pain is transformational reward. Don’t run from it, everyone must got through it to create.

5. Train up the child the way he is bent ~ Proverbs 22:6. Look for individuals God given gifts & place them so they may maximize their potential.

6. Don’t hire people for a function, chairs have a function. People have purpose, hire for a purpose.

7. Leadership is about clarity in your vision. You must get clear with your team on the vision so everyone is aligned on where we are going.

I was always the guy who said I don’t need to do that. I thought I was already doing the work. In business, in my relationships, in my health - I thought I had it under control.

What originally was a challenge for Cass & I to do as a representation of our commitment to one another in the year of our wedding turned into so many more lessons than just commitment.

1️⃣ 75 hard isn’t sexy. There isn’t any magic about it. In reality it’s just air. It’s the person you are trying to become that is currently doing the work. Success typically is boring, monotonous action done over extended periods of time.

2️⃣ There is more time than you think. Are you busy or are you productive? Two extremely different things.

3️⃣ When you want a specific outcome you don’t need answers you need action. You must do this by removing distractions & carving out time to make progress in that area. This could be = Fiannces, Health, Investments, Business, Relationships etc.

4️⃣ You’re never going to have a perfect plan. You don’t need one. As you work at the goal you are attempting to accomplish you will learn more efficient ways. You find answers in doing, the more you do the more you learn.

5️⃣ Life is this, today is a gift. And that gift is the opportunity to make the most of the breath you have & be better than you were yesterday. Don’t take that gift for granted.

6️⃣ When you start something new, the beginning is exciting. The middle is boring & uncomfortable (this is where most people quit). The end is easier - when you do things for a long enough time it becomes habit.

7️⃣ Life is full of challenges, this isn’t by mistake. Challenges are a gift with a chance to grow. We live in a world where stress free is praised, balance is chased, easy is wanted. When in reality anything worth something guarantees the opposite. There were many days I wanted to run my head through a wall - stress was at a high. Focus was being pulled in multiple different directions. But you do the work anyways & wake up tomorrow to attack the fires out in front of you.

You must lead yourself before you can be a leader to others.

Through my time in business, every time I have seen lack of growth, or persistent problems it always resembles a time I was not leading myself the way I should.

We are the sum of our past 90 days. I look back in times of trouble & notice patterns of my own personal growth faltering.

Learn to take inventory on yourself daily. Did I do what I said I was going to do? Did I make a positive impact on the people around me? Did I push us forward?

It’s consistency + discipline + mental fortitude that = Progress. It’s being able to do the mundane for a long enough time that you will reap the rewards of your labor.
