Post 2/2 Celebrating Katie’s football game debut with the Pride of Oklahoma! Before she even ran out of the tunnel she and Gracy were on the Jumbotron getting hyped! We sat in the north end zone so we got to see both Katie and Ty for pregame and throughout the game. Also got to see former student Lane Folds conduct the Star Spangled Banner- so proud! Former student @colespencer07 was hustling too much all day to get a pic this week! What a fun day supporting our Katie!! #boomer #prideofoklahoma #proudparents #trumpetgirl #marchingband #gameday taken in Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium by @aclaussen1

Post 1/2 from Katie’s football game debut with the Pride of Oklahoma! We had so much fun spending the day in Norman watching her do her thing. It was also the annual OU Band Day where high school students are invited to join the Pride for their halftime performance. #boomer #prideofoklahoma #proudparents #trumpetgirl #gameday taken in Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium by @aclaussen1

I was driving to work today and thinking about Katie at her marching band camp and our THREE teachers in our family and the fact they were each starting their first day of school in three different districts. And then it hit me…I am starting my 30th year in education myself! Whoa. Though my role looks quite different than it used to, I am still every bit as fired up about providing kids with a great experience. Now, I enjoy having the opportunity to support many educators give THEIR students great experiences! Thank you to all the amazing students, parents, admins, and colleagues I have had over the years- I am forever indebted to so many of you. Hope each of you have an amazing year!! by @aclaussen1
