These little arrows and flags are all over the place in Portugal and Spain, and unless you are looking for them, you probably never notice. It’s a perfect example of great subtle way-marking! Just when you get lost … one shows up! #walkingthecamino #caminoportugues #hikingtrails #waymark taken in Tui, Spain by @acmackeigan

My first glimpse inside the spectacular renovated Massey Hall. I can’t wait to hear some live music back in this room and all the others that will be part of the complex when complete.. wow. I hope 2022 will be the solid year of return to live music! Thanks for the #hardhat tour @jesse.kumagai @masseyhall #livemusic #loveoflivemusic #loveoflive #toronto taken in Toronto, Ontario by @acmackeigan

Snowy walk in today.. TTC cars blocked, even a snow plow blocked in a drift. Thanks to all that got up early to try to keep things moving! #snowday #winter #stayhome #staysafe taken in Toronto, Ontario by @acmackeigan

Our desert dog is now 1 year in Canada. She flew in (literally) from Cairo last November. More than 20 hours in a cage after more than a year in a shelter there with 300 other dogs. (last photo is from the shelter) We had 3 days notice to agree to rescue her… and life has not been the same ever since- for JaMila, or us! It’s been a year of many firsts.. First grass, first lake, first swim, first squirrel, first horse, first thunderstorm, first snow, first English…. She came with a lot of trauma, and is still working through stuff... We will be happy when we can walk down a street without avoiding on-coming dogs, who still leave her in fear. But we’ve had loads of help and understanding from friends with dogs, and trauma specialist Helen Moore at Wholesome Canine. A rescue dog is eternally grateful for EVERYTHING, and gives way more in return. Happy 1 Year Mila! @wholesomecanine @lyndajeacock @carlapoulosyoung @iharper2018 @epcoulter @mcleoddonnaclaire #slowdog #rescuedogsofinstagram #rescuedog #firstsnow taken in Toronto, Ontario by @acmackeigan
