Core mems were made as we set the alarm before dawn to watch the cosmic Planet Parade event and enjoy the sunrise on the beach. ❤️ 6 planets in a row, hot chocolates, warm blankies and a memory we will cherish forever.

Dearest poppy, we will miss you so much. It’s hard to believe your number won’t pop up on my phone with a request for chocolattes and a “How’s the kids love?” With a great love for fishing, Great Northerns and National Geographics, you always were filled with so much knowledge and love for our family. We saw the era of Lindt choccie convert and a healthy love for the most delicious honey. Poppy had the sweetest of tooths and always a cheeky comment to match. The kids always were met with a bowl of ice-cream, even in the nursing home. Our visits were the highlight of his day and I know he was so proud of us all. Poppy, hope you’re enjoying a cuppa with Pat, sharing a chocolatte and catching all the fish- especially the whiting. We love you and will miss you. ❤️ by @acoldcupofchloe
