NO, I’m not interested in creating just to keep up with an algorithm.

I make art because I believe it can hold something real — comfort, connection, memory, meaning. Even a small piece can carry a lot of heart, especially when it is created for someone who loves deeply.

That’s why I share my work here. Not just to post, but to connect through what art can hold.

What makes a piece of art feel personal to you?

Paradise Sunset 🌅🌴

This handmade journal was created like a little piece of paradise.

The cover features a tropical island at sunset, with the artwork wrapping the bookboard and continuing onto the spine so the whole piece feels connected from front to back. Each page was stitched together by hand, making it not only functional, but one of a kind.

This one has already found a home, and I’m so grateful when something handmade connects with someone enough to be chosen.

What draws you in most — the sunset, the island feel, or the handmade details?

I’m beginning to explore journals as more than blank pages.

Each piece starts as a hand-painted work of art, then slowly becomes a handmade journal—stitched together page by page and shaped into something both creative and personal.

Inspired by nature and the quiet process of reflection, these journals are meant to feel grounding… a small space to slow down, reconnect, and create in your own way.

Every painting starts as an idea and slowly finds its way to the surface.

This sea turtle is still evolving, but I’m loving how the movement and color are coming together. 🐢🌊

More layers to come.

A closer look at the center of this lily painting.
I’m always drawn to organic forms and the way color can push natural shapes into something slightly surreal.

Which part of the painting stands out most to you?
