The beauty of creating art through movement 💙 #acro #dance by @acroattheden
Season 5 has officially begun over at @dance.at.the.den 🐾 Starting off strong with our tiny and level 5/6 acro classes. So excited to see all the new skills ours dancers learn this year 🤸‍♂️ #acro #dance #tumbling by @acroattheden
At The Den we believe acro is about so much more than learning tricks. We teach every dancer regardless of age that proper strength, alignment, body awareness and core control builds the necessary foundation for them to be successful with learning skills safely and properly. Whether you're 2 or 16 you will always start your acro class with conditioning that emphasizes the muscle groups necessary to learn specific skills. These dancers may be small but they are strong and building an incredible understanding of how to squeeze and control their bodies. Sign up now for teeny tiny and tiny acro 🤸‍♂️ #dance #acro #tumbling by @acroattheden
A little appreciation post for the role I get to play at @dance.at.the.den 🤸‍♂️ what a privilege it is to get to work with @jess_m_wolf and the incredible staff along with such talented hardworking kiddos. I am so lucky to teach 5 wonderful Acro classes every Friday. I fell in love with gymnastics at the age of 2 and finding my way back to the thing I love most in a different way where I get to learn and grow as a teacher has been so special and fulfilling. I have fallen in love with the world of dance and the unique way's in which I get to use Acro to help tell stories and create beautiful pieces of art. Finding my way back to my first love was sort of like finding the missing piece to a puzzle I didn't know I needed. So excited for the upcoming @imprint_dance_company season in which I get to help co-choreograph a piece for the very first time. So thankful to be given the opportunity to learn alongside one of the most incredible directors out there @jess__wolf 💙 📷: @vincetrupsinstudio by @acroattheden
New skill alert for @celestemonreal_dancer with a beautiful front aerial⭐️ So much of acro is learning how to work through your fears. We are so proud of you and the hard work you have put in to achieve your goals! by @acroattheden
Imprint season 3 has officially come to an end! What a wonderful and entertaining season with such hilarious and hard working kiddos. Almost 2 years ago @jess__wolf reached out to me and asked if I would come in and help teach her dancers aerials. I was hesitant to say yes at first. I grew up as a gymnast and hung up my coaching shoes over 8 years ago when I first moved to Los Angeles. I walked in to teach one day of classes and I guess you could say I never left. I can confidently say that saying yes was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am so grateful I get to share my love of tumbling and gymnastics in a new way, and I enjoy every second of getting to learn about the incredible world of dance. Thank you @jess__wolf for being the best director and for creating the most incredible environment for these dancers to learn, grow, and find confidence in who they are. I could not have asked for a better place for me to fall back in love with teaching. So lucky to work with the best kiddos, teachers and parents. So excited for whats in store for season 4 💙🐾 by @acroattheden
