Congratulations to incoming first years Brooke Byrd and Ava Pugh on being named recipients of the FCA Heart of a Champion Award! 🏆❤️💛🤍Both athletes were selected to represent their schools in the Northeast Texas FCA All-Star Game. After being nominated by their high school coaches, they were chosen by the FCA selection committee earlier this year.We are incredibly proud of these young women and the way they represent our program both on and off the field. Lauren Trott has been a versatile presence for Austin College, contributing both in the circle and across the field throughout her career.Her ability to step into multiple roles and compete at a high level has made her a valuable part of the Roos’ program.One of her favorite memories came during the team’s trip to California last season—a time that reflected both the experiences and relationships built along the way.She graduates double majoring in psychology and kinesiology with a concentration in sports management, and plans to pursue a career in sports management before continuing her education at UNT with a master’s in sports exercise psychology. by @acroosoftball
