Helping families stay aligned to what matters most
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
The calendar says two activities.

Reality says two drivers, three bags, a missing water bottle, and someone asking what’s for dinner. 😂

Nobody puts THAT part on the schedule.

Tag the person you run the after-school logistics department with. 🫶

Practice was supposed to end at 8.

But 8:00 became 8:27.

Which meant dinner at 9, showers at 9:30, and somehow homework was still waiting at 9:45. 😅

The funny thing about kids’ activities is they don’t just take time.

They move everything else around them.

And tomorrow morning still starts at the same time.

What’s the latest a supposedly normal practice has pushed your evening?

Big news for ACTIQO! 🚀💙

Every parent knows the calendar is only half the battle.

Soccer at 6 sounds simple… until you’re figuring out who’s driving, where the cleats are, what time to leave, and whether anyone remembered the water bottle. ⚽😂

That’s why we built ACTIQO.

And today, we’re excited to share that ACTIQO has officially been accepted into the @claudeai Claude Startups program! 🎉

It’s an exciting milestone as we continue building smarter ways for families to manage everything around their kids’ activities.

From schedules and Game Plans to responsibilities, driving, costs, and family insights, we’re working to make the invisible work of parenting a little more manageable.

📱 Now available on iPhone, Android, and web.

💬 Parents, what’s the ONE thing about kids’ activities you wish someone else would just handle?

Everyone can see soccer at 6.

Somehow one person still knows:

when everyone needs to leave
which field it moved to
who’s driving
where the cleats are
whether the water bottle is filled
what the other kid is doing
and what needs to happen afterward.

The calendar is shared.

The mental model usually isn’t.

Seeing an activity isn’t the same as owning everything required to make it happen.

Who carries the activity plan in your house?

Send this to them. 😅

Your calendar says you have 3 things tonight.

But your family has about 17 things to do.

Because “Soccer — 6:00 PM” sounds pretty simple.

It doesn’t show:

The cleats.
The water bottle.
The snack.
The drive.
The traffic.
The sibling pickup.
Who’s taking him.
Dinner afterward.
Homework afterward.
Getting everything ready to do it again tomorrow.

Then add dance.

Then add Scouts.

Then add another kid.

And suddenly you realize:

The events were never the whole workload.

That’s the part of managing kids’ activities that can be so hard to explain.

It’s not necessarily that there’s too much on the calendar.

It’s that every little box on the calendar creates work around it.

Parents: what’s the one thing your family calendar never seems to capture?

A 60-minute practice was never just 60 minutes.

Soccer might say 6:00–7:00 PM on the calendar.

But the family commitment starts earlier.

Find the cleats.
Fill the water bottle.
Change clothes.
Get everyone out the door.
Drive there.
Practice.
Drive home.

Then it’s 7:30.

And there’s still dinner. Homework. Showers. Tomorrow.

That’s why this number stood out:

84% of sports parents say the time commitment is a challenge.

Not because the hour isn’t worth it.

Because the hour isn’t really an hour.

The calendar captures the activity.

It doesn’t capture everything the family does around it.

89% say the benefits of youth sports outweigh the drawbacks.

And 84% still say scheduling and logistics are a challenge.

Those numbers belong together.

Because most sports parents aren’t driving to practice thinking:

“Why are we doing this?”

We know why.

They love it.

They’re making friends.

They’re learning to compete, work hard, lose, improve and be part of a team.

We get to watch them become more confident.

And then we’re also figuring out who’s driving Tuesday, where the other kid needs to be, whether the uniform is clean, what time we actually need to leave, and how we’re going to make dinner happen somewhere in between.

Maybe loving the activity was never the problem.

Maybe it’s everything required to keep making the activity possible.

68% of sports parents have seriously considered pulling their child out of sports.

That number stopped me.

Not because parents suddenly stopped believing in sports.

But because the real cost of youth sports isn’t always sitting on the registration page.

It’s the equipment.

The travel.

The meals.

The hotels.

The training.

The 30-minute drive to a 60-minute practice.

The parent leaving work early.

The sibling coming along.

The texts, schedule changes, packing, pickups and entire evenings built around getting one kid to one place.

And here’s the hard part:

An activity can be great for your child and still be a lot for your family.

Both things can be true.

Maybe the question isn’t simply:

“Is this activity worth it?”

Maybe it’s:

“Is what our family is putting into this still working for our child — and for us?”

That’s a conversation I think more sports parents should be able to have without feeling guilty about it.

What has become the hardest part of youth sports for your family: money, time, travel, or the mental load?

Fall activities are back. So is the “who’s picking up?” conversation. 😅

Soccer, dance, swim lessons… every activity comes with a plan someone has to remember.

ACTIQO brings your kids’ schedules, pickup responsibilities, packing lists and leave times together. Activity check-ins help you see how it’s all going, too.

Here’s a 29-second look at having the plan somewhere besides your head.

Send this to the person you’re coordinating the week with.

Available on iPhone. Start free through the link in bio.

“How was practice?”

“Good.”

And five minutes later, you’re onto dinner, homework, baths and tomorrow.

But over a season, those little moments start to matter.

They loved it today.
They were wiped afterward.
Last week was rough.
They’re getting more confident.
They haven’t wanted to miss a practice.

That’s why we built Check-Ins in ACTIQO.

After a practice, game or lesson, parents can quickly capture attendance, how it went, energy afterward and anything worth remembering.

It takes seconds.

The point isn’t to track every moment.

It’s to remember enough of them to see the pattern.

Soccer starts at 5:30.

But the plan starts long before that.

When do we need to leave?

Who’s driving?

What needs to be packed?

Is there anything different about today?

And does everyone in the family know the plan?

That’s why we built Game Plan in ACTIQO.

It keeps the details around your kids’ activities together — preparation, responsibilities, leave time, reminders and the things you don’t want to forget.

Because the calendar tells you where to be.

ACTIQO helps your family get there ready.

ACTIQO is officially available on iOS. 🎉

Kids’ activities are more than a spot on the calendar.

There’s when to leave. What to bring. Who’s responsible. The reminders. The costs. How it went. And all the little things families try to keep straight from one week to the next.

That’s what ACTIQO is built for.

One place to help families coordinate everything around kids’ sports and activities — and better understand the time, cost, energy and family workload behind them.

Game Plans. Leave-time guidance. Family responsibilities. Check-ins. Costs. Insights over time.

Not another family calendar.

The layer around it.

ACTIQO is now available on the App Store.

Download it today — link in bio.
