The @persimmons_xi ride again!!

2025 sees the Mighty Persimmons once again take the Warwick Australia Day Cricket Carnival by storm.

After a great 1st day, with a great win over the mighty Cows, and another match against another team, the boys have earned a beer or many.

No doubt they are all safely tucked in bed right now, getting all the beauty sleep and rest they need for another amazing performance tomorrow.

I haven't posted in a while, and in truth I didn't get to shoot as much action this season as I have previously. I thought I'd share a couple I was pretty happy with though! by @activememoriesphoto

The 1st Day is in the books!
The Mighty Persimmons strutted their stuff on a super hot Day 1 of the Aussie Day Carnival, playing out in Yangan on a beautiful pitch prepared especially for today.
It was so hot, in fact, that the boys decided to not take home the chocolates, as they would have surely been melted very early on.
The draw for tomorrows spectacle will be out soon, don't miss the thrilling conclusion!

The Mighty Persimmons ride again!

Donning the baggy Persimmon once again, the greatest once-a-year, fruit-based, orange-adjacent cricket team to ever come out of Warwick ride into battle to defend their title of most photographed Carnival team!

Make sure to get yourself down to Warwick on January 26 & 27 to witness the spectacle that is the Australia Day Carnival, and you will be rewarded with tales of daring and wonder that will delight young and old for generations to come.

Let's ride!!
