My 2025 Wrapped!

Forever grateful for all of the volunteering I got to do this year🩵

I cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store! by @activismwithdione

Last week, I was invited to attend the EVAWG Summit at Marlborough College in Wiltshire, focusing on Inspiring Lasting Change Together by @evawgwiltshire . After writing about 100 pages in my journal, I thought I would share some important topics highlighted.

I have left feeling so inspired, and amazed by the minds that attended the summit, as well as the speakers, and having the Queen attend, really highlighted the importance of events like these.

Halving Violence Against Women and Girls- The National Challenge - @jessphillipsmp : an important discussion around how can we take away that expectation that women and girls have in our country that it’s their responsibility to protect themselves?

Engaging Men & Boys as Allies in Change - @maleallyship @malealliesuk : Sexism isn’t the shark; Sexism is the water; Allyship is filtering that water. 72% of young boys don’t have more than one person who knows them really well.

The Abuse in our pockets: Abuse Rewired - @zara_mcdermott : Online is no longer a seperate place, underlying issues remain the same; power, entitlement, shame, control & misogyny. We need to make abuse harder to commit - safety by design.

Coercive & Controlling Behaviour: Spotting the Signs and Protecting Society - @laurarichards999 @crimeanalyst : A woman is killed by her partner every four days, and femicide is at an all time high. Domestic Abuse is the leading cause of homelessness.

This is just a short summary of some of the interesting conversations had during this summit. Seeing so many people that are so passionate, in one room, was incredibly humbling. I cannot wait to see Wiltshire excel in ending violence against women and girls by @activismwithdione

THE GIRLS DID IT AGAIN!

@letsgogirls_club & @stilettoandflow members joined forces and raised £1286 for @fearfreecharity completing a firewalk at 560°c! 🔥

I feel so privileged to be part of such an amazing community of women, who are willing to do huge challenges to raise money for such an important cause.

Thank you to Kiera, Peach, Josie, Ruby, Lucie and Anelya for joining me on another crazy venture, all in the name of fundraising for the amazing charity @fearfreecharity 🧡 by @activismwithdione
