The U.S. is the biggest threat to humanity and peace in the world. While we watch everything unravel, politicians are doing absolutely nothing to stop this lunacy. This is just completely diabolical and demonic. Our tax dollars continue to fund war, genocide, murder, and bombings and we can’t do anything to stop it. This feels so infuriating and maddening and none of this shit is normal. An emergency rally was held in Foley Square with an autonomous group of people who gathered in response to Trump’s alarming message. Activists demanded an end to this pointless war with Iran and an end to U.S. imperialism. During the coldest week in NYC and three weeks into the citywide nurses strike, NYC nurses organized a vigil for Alex Pretti, who was an intensive care nurse for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. He was murdered by ICE agents in broad daylight while trying to protect a woman from assault. His murder has ignited calls for a national day of strike and boycott. The tyranny of ICE must end before more innocent people are murdered with zero accountability.
