i am hosting a winter clothing drive partnered with the dream center from this wednesday to next wednesday (oct. 14th-21st)!! ❄️☃️

the donation box will be located in the century high school commons, please consider donating! only NEW items will be accepted, items including: coats, snow boots, scarfs, gloves, hats, etc. the bismarck dream center is specifically looking for children’s clothes, but all donations are accepted.

today i walked with @kylah_rae12 and her cause “kids care too” at the walk for american foundation for suicide prevention!

this was a beautiful ceremony and an equally important call of awarness for suicide prevention. having lost my uncle, and family friend to suicide, this walk was very important for me.

supporting the leaders in our community, like kylah, is an example that no matter who you are, what you believe, or where you come from, you have the ability to step up and make a difference. #actnownd 💙 by @actnownd

sometimes being a leader is simply loving yourself.

today is world suicide prevention day. a day to remember all the lives we’ve lost, and to come together to prevent future loss.

suicide prevention starts with recognizing when someone may be struggling, checking in on the people around us, and making sure no one feels like they have to face difficult moments alone.

a conversation can matter. reaching out can matter. being there can matter.

today i called senator john hoeven, kevin cramer, & representative julie fedorchak to discuss protections against kids apart of marginalized communities in public schools. with the new school year coming up, every kid deserves equal protections and a safe environment to learn!

this is a great way to advocate for your passions, so i highly encourage everyone who can to call their legislators! by @actnownd
