Happy Birthday @bolanleaustenpeters . 🖼️🎊🎉🎬🔥
Take it or leave it, she is one of the only Nigerians I have personally seen allocate time, energy and resources towards empowering creative youth without the expectation of financial kick back.

Amazing.
If you think you can beat that, match it first, then we move from there.

Happy birthday to the Lawyer, the businesswoman, the chief, the princess, the MIT fellow, the educator, the director, the producer, the queen of theatre, the savant. More wins 🎉🎊 taken in Victoria Island, Lagos by @actuallyjustyk

Still taking it all in—Her Majesty, the Queen of Denmark, at Terra Kulture.
She walked through the exhibition I curated taking in the beautiful art by Gbenga Adeku, paused with intention, asked questions that mattered.
She saw our stories—layered, bold, and unapologetically Nigerian.
She witnessed the brilliance of our award-winning films, brought to life under the direction of Bolanle Austen-Peters.

This is why I do what I do. Why I’m the Artistic Barrister. Because art is advocacy, and culture is power. We bridged continents through creativity, and I couldn’t be prouder of the incredible crop of people I get to call my teammates.

Been 3 years since I curated an exhibition with my works in it; crazy right. Thanks @ajokebyallofus for the solid collab and as always @terrakulturegallery for championing creativity and telling uniquely African stories.

My indigo Diary still showing at Terra Kulture, make sure to catch it and let me know your thoughts

Art isn’t something I do, it is someway that I am.
Literally woven into every fibre of my DNA 🧬
I’m physically incapable of imagining a world where I don’t get to express myself this way.

Creativity is my pathos, my raison d’être.

The fact that I have also somehow found a way to build a career out of it is absolutely ridiculous.

I recognize how fortunate I am, and I am infinitely grateful for that.
