I still have no words for how incredible it was to spend my Saturday night at this historic show. If you told me six months ago we were going to be making friends at the front porch barricade all night and go home with a setlist, I never would’ve believed you. Fenway N4 will live forever in my heart, bundled up with all the sweat, laughter, and tears we shed together. Thank you endlessly to Annabelle Dinda, @gigi4perez and @noahkahanmusic for the collective trauma; I hope we get to do it all over again someday. ✨

I’m probably over 100 hrs deep in my middle-of-nowhere, small Northeast town childhood & complicated family relationship feelings about The Great Divide at this point. It’s such a specific collection of emotions I’ve never really found in lyrics before, but damn did @noahkahanmusic hit the nail on the head with this album. Can’t wait to experience the mass existential depression event that will be the Front Porch at Fenway in a few weeks, so I decided to make something to wear to commemorate the occasion 🐞 See all of you fellow bugs there! ✨

🐞’Tis the season 🐞

The sun and spring have returned, so for my birthday we lowkey went a little bit feral at the local nursery. Smothered ~250 sq ft of useless lawn to replace it with new native plant beds full of perennials alongside our driveway, and prepped our food garden for the season.

Plant list for the new beds include: indigo, alumroot, honeysuckle, Jacob’s ladder, stonecrop, ferns, foam flower, columbine, milkweed, butterfly milkweed, phlox, prairie smoke, spice bush, coneflower, and more!

I heard we sharing build books 👀 Ngl this is one of my favorite parts of a project; I go a little bit feral matching the design & layout to the character. All of my text ended up absurdly tiny since there were so many steps and so much detail involved in this build, but feel free to DM me if you want a readable copy!

Woo boy, Anime Boston. I took pretty much zero photos and the weekend passed in a complete blur as I ~wasted my Saturday in the green room 🤪 I don’t regret a single thing about seeing so many incredible cosplays and making so many new crafty friends, I can’t wait to yap about new builds together and see yall again at other comps.

All the finishing touches are done, my build book is printed, my fabrics are swatched…I think I’m actually, finally, officially complete on this project a couple days early. 🥹 It’s been a four year journey, and now I get to yap about it at AB next weekend!

With #katsucon right around the corner, Im so excited to shoot again! Katsu is one of my favorite cons to shoot at, though ironically.... I almost never shoot indoors anymore unless its too windy or too cold. But this is my favorite location, 😍 one of my favorite shots Ive gotten from katsu by far!
