For the past several weeks, multiple ACT UP chapters from various cities have been meeting on a regular basis, dubbed “ACT UP Nation”. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, May 31, at 6 PM EDT, and we are inviting people to join us, whether they are part of an ACT UP chapter already, or are interested in joining one, or maybe even forming one, or are simply interested in organizing with other activists around issues of healthcare, social justice, and HIV/AIDS. The president's FY 2027 budget proposes eliminating or deeply cutting nearly every major federal HIV program.
