Richard Opoku Agyeman, Co-founder & Creative Director of Acute Formula, stopped by the Animation Pocket at Annecy 2026 to share the studio’s exciting slate.
.
Adventures of Paaputu – two young boys exploring life with unmistakably Ghanaian energy.
.
Mama Christie – a retired teacher, her city family, and timeless folk wisdom.
.
Till Death – a psychological drama selected for the Annecy MIFA Pitch 2024.
.
Ɔyere ne Okunu – two unlikely allies confront ancient spirits in a sacred Ghanaian forest.
.
Prɛkɛsɛ – a comic series rooted in Ghanaian culture, bringing its stories to life through print and animation.

Acute Formula, founded by Richard Opoku Agyeman and Michael Asiedu, is helping shape the future of Ghanaian animation—one story at a time.

You’re watching TAPGH — The Animation Pocket Ghana.
