Born from a longing to reconnect with culture and self, ADAstatement creates Kenyan brass artistry through pieces that carry meaning beyond the moment. Shaped by hand and guided by generations of knowledge, our jewelry holds the memory of craft, the beauty of heritage, and the quiet power of belonging.

Inspired by the natural world leaves, flowers, shells, stone, and earth; our jewelry transforms heritage brass into bold expressions of identity. Pieces that do not whisper, carrying presence long before words arrive.

Zima is a refusal to be erased by a consumerist bubble. It is a stand against abolishing authenticity passed from generation to generation.

As someone who was born and raised in one country, and living in another culture for years I tried to blend in communities I don’t belong at, forcing myself to believe I liked things I wore because I have to “fit in”. Seems like not a big deal, but that’s where my gold of heritage began to disappear. One day I realized that I’m trading my ancestral lineage for “cult” of Lululemon, Stanley cups, Uggs - a manufactured identity that you can buy off a store.

It is natural to adapt in a new environment, but it is dangerous to forget the roots you are blessed with.

Your identity was rooted through centuries of survival and struggle for you to be here now. Don’t let a consumerist bubble become the grave where your spirit disappears. your blood remembers what are you trying to forget.

Not everything that glitters is gold.

I was honoured to work with such an incredible team,and elegant brands. Big thank you to @t.l.ava for styling all the models. @swans_production and @kuczer.art for filming in a snowstorm 🥶, and of course to our incredible beautiful and magnetic models that made all the vibe and positive energy. Brass jewelry as characters, each with its own presence and rhythm.
People didn’t just look, they touched and interacted. They experienced jewelry in motion; not as objects, but as companions. Designed to be worn and lived in, this installation allowed brass jewelry to exist the way it’s meant to be: sparking curiosity and in movement. This jewelry doesn’t sit still, it lives in motion.
