That is courage.

They’re always watching—even when we’re not teaching.😁

I wore a crop top, and my daughter immediately said she wanted one too. So, of course, she got the child-friendly version! 😝😊

It was a sweet and funny moment, but also a powerful reminder: we are our children’s first role models.

Children learn far more from what they observe than from what we tell them. They notice how we dress, speak, respond to challenges, treat others, care for ourselves, and talk about our bodies.

This doesn’t mean we have to be perfect or overthink every little thing. It simply means being intentional about the examples we set—and using everyday moments to teach age-appropriate choices, confidence, values, and self-respect.

Before asking, “Why is my child doing that?” it may help to ask, “Where might they have seen it?”

Our children are always learning from us. Let’s give them something meaningful to copy.
