Wearing red around the world❤️🌍

I have brought my “Instagram dress” with me on quite a few trips now and I realised that in general I’ve worn red quite a lot whilst exploring the world🤪❤️ So I decided to put together this little album with some of my favourite captures❤️🌍

2025 TRAVEL WRAPPED✈️🩵

A little later this time, because I was traveling all the way until the end of the year and I wanted to make sure everything was included🩵 WHAT A YEAR! So many beautiful destinations, memorable experiences and incredible people. I moved to Australia by myself and spent 6 months exploring this amazing country🩵

I spent 1 month solo traveling Oceania, going to New Zealand, Fiji and Vanuatu. I went back to The Maldives for the 3rd time, with my mom. I did a solo trip to Malaysia on the way to Australia and I did my normal trips to England before I left for Australia🩵 I started 2025 by watching the London NYE fireworks and started 2026 by watching the world known fireworks in Sydney.

I’ve had so many “once in a lifetime experiences”- it’s hard to process everything that I was able to do this year and I’m forever grateful. For the opportunity, for my support system and most of all to myself, for following my dreams, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and for proving to myself that I can do whatever I put my mind to🩵 I did a lot of solo traveling this year and it feels amazing seeing how much I’m capable of doing on my own!🥹🩵

I’m not sure how anything can beat 2025🩵 But I’m excited for 2026 and what’s yet to come🩵✨

Rainy day in Salzburg☔️🩵🇦🇹

It rained constantly, but we bought umbrellas and set out to explore. And what a charming city, with lots of beautiful buildings and cozy streets🩵 We saw the birthplace of Mozart and visited the lovely Mirabell gardens, which is featured in The Sound of Music. We also walked up the viewpoint and got a stunning view of the city🤩

2 countries in one hike! Starting at the stunning Lünersee🇦🇹🩵⛰️

SAVE this for your trip to Austria⛰️❤️

I cannot get over the colour of this water!😍So beautiful, especially on a sunny day.

Lünersee is located at 1970 masl. The lake is very accessible, as you can take a gondola which will bring you up there in 5 minutes🚠There’s a restaurant there and it’s a very popular tourist destination. From the upper station you can hike around the lake, which will take you approximately 2 hours. The circuit trail is 6,1 kilometres long and only has about 100 meters of elevation. The whole circuit is so beautiful and there were almost no people there compared to at the station😊

If you want a little more of a challenge, you can hike up to Gafalljoch viewing point as well, which is what we did. This will add some more elevation to your hike. Our total hike of the lake + the summit ended up being 9,5 kilometres, with 437 meters of elevation⛰️

At the top you’ll get a beautiful view of the lake, but also of Switzerland!🇨🇭 The Swiss border is located at the top and we had a lot of fun jumping back and forth between the two countries🤣❤️ It’s not every day that you can visit 2 countries on the same hike.

I absolutely love London during Christmas and I suppose it has special meaning to me because I met Dan when I was there to watch the lights for the first time🥹❤️ And now I want to see them every year✨ Dan doesn’t quite understand my obsession with them, because I have seen them all quite a few times now and I always want to go all over London and see ALL of them😅 But I just think it’s so magical and I love this little tradition✨

I missed out last year because I was in Australia, so I’m very excited to be back later this year and honestly it’s not that far away!✨ I usually try to go see them in the end of November, before the worst crowds come in December❤️

Hanging in there🤪🩵⛰️🇦🇹

Our first Austria hike went to Olpererhütte 2389 masl and it was just as stunning as we’d imagined😍🩵 The views were so beautiful and we got to have a lot of fun taking pictures at the Instagram famous suspension bridge🤪

Starting at the Schlegeis Reservoir, it’s a 6 kilometre long round trip, with an elevation gain of 600 meters🩵

I’d seen this hike on Instagram many times and I was so excited to finally do it myself😍 We had sunny weather which was beautiful and made the blue water pop, but it was pretty cold at the top. So we went into the hut and got some hot chocolate (with the best views)😍

A lovely week visiting our friend and his family, lost of beautiful sunsets, beach time, surfing and yummy food🇱🇰❤️ Our hotel organised a special dinner for us on our last night, free of charge because we were returning guests🥹❤️ We got to so many different Sri Lankan dishes and it was absolutely incredible😍

Sri Lanka dump🇱🇰🏄🏼‍♀️💛

Our third time in Sri Lanka💛 We went back to see our friend and his family and it was so lovely to see them again💛 It had been 2 years since the last time. They made us dinner at their house again and it was so incredible. It’s so precious having people you care about in completely different parts of the world and the reunions are always so wholesome🫶🏻

We also surfed, had lots of yummy food and got a lot of beach time💛 We were actually “stuck” in Sri Lanka for an extra 4 nights because of the war in the Middle East breaking out, which was stressful at first because all of our flights got canceled. But when we got our new flight confirmed we were able to enjoy the extra time with our friend and it meant that we were actually able to slow down a bit for once, and I even got to read several whole books at the beach🤪💛 (Our holidays are always so busy, so relaxing is usually not on the itinerary haha)

After a busy week with lots of diving in the Maldives this was perfect💛

Best 6 months of my life🥹🇦🇺🐨🦘❤️

I love my life at home, but I still miss Australia pretty much every day🤪🥹 Looking back at all of these videos it’s almost hard to believe that I did all of that last year. Life was a literal dream and this chapter is one that I’ll cherish forever and be so so so grateful for🥹🇦🇺❤️

Can’t wait to go back one day❤️

Crazy to think that I wouldn’t have experienced any of these amazing moments (and lots more) if I hadn’t been brave enough to go alone🥹🩵✈️

I have gotten pretty used to solo traveling now, but I still meet people who are shocked when they realise that I’m there by myself. One time in Lombok I was just going out for breakfast and I had to clarify 5 times that it was just me, because the guy working in the café just couldn’t seem to believe it😅😂 And to be honest, I’ve done so much more than just go out for breakfast by myself haha.

I believe that if there’s something you want to do, then do it! In my opinion it’s better to go alone and a little scared, than to end up with regrets. Chances are you’ll have a really amazing time. And like my mom always told me: there’s always a flight home if not🩵

I’m not saying it’s easy- I went on my first solo trip at 19, fresh out of high school. And it was scary! But honestly it was so much scarier before I left. Just thinking everything through in my head. When I went it was amazing. Since then I’ve done more trips and added more things. Last December I was scared of renting a campervan by myself to drive through New Zealand. But even that worked out and turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I’ve done!🩵

Childhood magic brought to life✨🪄

Harry Potter was my whole childhood. My parents started reading the books to me when I was 6 and we made it through the whole series together. For years, I would fall asleep listening to the audio books and I knew big chunks of them by heart, word for word. When I was old enough to watch the films, they became my favourites and were watched on repeat✨ I would also dress up as Harry Potter for every costume occasion, like trick or treat, for years😂

For Christmas, Dan got me tickets to the Warner Bros Studio tour in London! We went in April (luckily we had booked if for the end of the visit, when my eye condition was finally getting better😅) and it was a magical day✨ It was so cool to see everything in person and the whole experience was really well put together🤩

Our tickets also included a lovely 2 course lunch🫶🏻

Parking on site is free🚗

Public transport:
Catch the train from London Euston station to Watford junction, which takes about 20 minutes. From there you can get on the shuttle bus, which runs approximately every 30 minutes and has a journey time to the studio of about 15 minutes.
