today marks 3 months from the most tragic day of my life. and all i can say is i hate this new “normal. ” my normal shouldn’t be coming home and crying because of grief. my normal shouldn’t be laying in bed with thoughts of my siblings being alive. my normal shouldn’t be grieving. i miss when i came home and saw kyler laying down. i miss my mom yelling at him to get up for school. i miss hearing his loud truck pull in at night. i miss brileigh being here. i miss her advice. i miss when i could complain to her and i’d get a tough love response. i miss my siblings, my bsfs, my angels. by no means would i expect to be living without my role models. greif is weird, it’s listening to old videos, it’s smelling something that takes you back, it’s seeing their faces in the media but not in person. God has been good through this hardship. i trust that he will stay good. i’ve watched friendships reform, relationships bloom, and bonds become indestructible. all because of the two most perfect human beings leaving the earth far too early. Knowing brieligh and kyler, i know they’d want this. i know they would want to see everyone rebuild things that were broken. before they passed, it’s almost like part of them knew. God was secretly preparing them to come home. they hugged me longer, told me they loved me more, laughed harder, smiled more often, and went to church any time they got the chance. To my siblings: i miss you, and i love you more the you’ll ever understand. life without you is weird, far away from normal. i love when i get to dream about you, and see your face again. it makes me so happy to know i will see you again. i miss your smell and your laughs. i miss your company and even your silence. i miss playing hide and seek around the nationhood and our late night McDonalds run. but most of all, i miss you bring here. i miss your presence. i miss everything about you i could possibly miss. keep painting those skies, and making my days bright. i love you.

Words can’t even explain the grief i have rn. if you were lucky enough to know my bsfs you would know how contagious their laughs and smiles were. being able to have them as my siblings and role models was the biggest blessing the Lord gave me. to know they both love the Lord is such a relief. tha yiu for everyone reaching out!!
