🎓 HARVARD IN STEEL 🎶🇹🇹

Adam Bartholomew is leaving Harvard with more than a degree.

The 23-year-old filmmaker, musician and Harvard graduate helped bring steelpan to the Ivy League university through the Harvard College Steel Pan Ensemble, while continuing to carry the legacy of Panazz: The Story to new audiences.

Now, Adam reflects on Harvard Steel, the success of his pan documentary and the next chapter in his journey through music, film and storytelling.

“Wherever I go, I will carry Trinidad and Tobago in my heart,” @adam_bart

‘Panazz: The Story’ is a documentary co-created by one of our co-founders @adam_bart about the legendary jazz steelpan ensemble which was led by his uncle @cheffinbar

📰 Steelpan Takes Harvard! 🛢 🎶🔥

Harvard University now has its own steelpan ensemble, thanks to the vision and persistence of T&T student Adam Bartholomew and his fellow pannist Elizabeth Bennett @elizabethbennett_ 🇹🇹🇬🇧✨

🗣️ “Harvard is one of the premier tertiary institutions in the world, so it brings me immense pride as a Trinbagonian that we now have a steelpan ensemble here on campus.” – @adam_bart

From a shared love of pan to building an official student organisation, Adam and Elizabeth have brought Trinidad & Tobago’s national instrument to one of the world’s most prestigious schools—bridging cultures and creating new opportunities for steelpan worldwide. @harvardcollegesteelpan
