2013. The Kick Six. @auburnfootball over @alabamafbl in the wildest fashion. @mr._kicksix wins the game. This was the first big-time football game I had ever called. We were on the photo deck of the Jordan-Hare press box with the late Rod Bramblett (Auburn) behind us, Eli Gold (Alabama) and Verne Lundquist (CBS) calling it on the other side of the box in their booths. My partner Gary Barnett was in shock. All of us were. My voice cracked. I could not believe what had just happened. I was 26 years old. by @adamamin

I have been coming to Originals (134 N. Wells) since moving back to Chicago in my 20s. The owner, John, an immigrant who reminded me so much of my father (may they both rest in peace), made me feel like a friend. And the women who run the joint have welcomed me like family. They are my aunties, mis tias. I know their kids, their grandkids. Me enseñan español, comparten conmigo sus culturas, su comida y su amabilidad. I’m thankful for these people in my life in this place that is important to me and that is why when I was asked for locations for this shoot, Originals had to be one of them. To Francesca, Lola, Vivian, Luli, Nicole, Sylvia, Oliva, and Chris…thank you for taking care of me. by @adamamin
