I had an amazing experience meeting Pacific NW Legend, clothing designer Adam Arnold at his estate sale at his childhood home in Vancouver. And the coolest thing happened…a box was brought out that hadn’t been explored yet, so I asked if I could look inside. Deep in the box, I found Adam Arnold’s early 90s Chuck Taylors, complete with peace signs, “Grow Your Own”, and “Lord of the Rings,” mantras of his teenage self. Being a vintage seller is a grief process, and today I got the chance to talk a brilliant artist into keeping those vintage Chucks that are emblems of that young man who burned rubber and chased major pavement to define his own style, evolving into an even brighter and truer version of himself. Honestly, they @converse should make an Adam Arnold Grow Your Own Chuck Taylor! Stating facts! Stranger things have happened. I also bought his childhood Kermit and Godzilla and they will be gracing the shelves of Red Fox Vintage very soon ❤️🙏🤘. #vintage #pdxdesigner #pdxfashion #vintageclothes by @adamarnoldstudio
