Gotta brag on this guy for a sec.

He’s 26, works an intensive sales job and goes out pretty much every weekend. I know this because I’ve run into him out on the town more than once… yes, I also enjoy going out.

And guess what… he’s down 11 lbs since August.

When we started, I wasn’t going to tell him to stop going out or to quit drinking. That plan lasts two weeks and then you’re back at the beginning feeling like you failed. So, we built it around what his life looks like. We started with 3 days in the gym and 2 days running, all while giving him the flexibility to get it done around his schedule AND WITHOUT GIVING UP HIS WEEKENDS.

Was every week perfect? Nope, but we’re not chasing perfection, we’re chasing consistency. Some weeks the scale went up. Some weeks work got crazy with dinners and client meetings. But he didn’t panic or throw the whole thing out. We just adjusted and kept going. That’s the part that got him results.

Something he said stuck with me: he wanted a program that fit his life instead of becoming his life. That’s exactly how I think about it.

If you’ve got a 9-5, a social life, and you’re tired of thinking you have to pick between that and getting in shape, you don’t. DM me “COACH” and we’ll figure out what works best for you. by @adambecker13

ONE ON ONE ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING HIT THE LINK IN THE BIO! by @adambecker13

News flash… everyone gets cravings. Your parents, your friends, even your worst enemy. They’re a normal part of day-to-day life. Whether they come from stress, lack of sleep, or boredom, there comes a time when all discipline goes out the window.

So what’s next? Am I broken? Can I stop it?

No, you’re not broken. And yes, you can change it.

By changing your environment, removing certain vices, and creating friction, you can start to change the HABIT that has become associated with the craving.

If you’re stressed and don’t work out, start by moving your body. You’ll likely crave fewer unhealthy foods and feel less stressed. Comment REPS for a program that’s either 3 or 4 days a week for 45-60 minutes, and I’ll send you the link. by @adambecker13

I think I got my swagger back (god I’m tired) by @adambecker13

Corporate guys: you only need six exercises to look noticeably more shredded in 90 days.

Push away from your chest. Push overhead. Pull down from above. Pull toward you. Squat. Hinge.

Pick one option for each, hit all six every week in three 45 minute workouts, and add weight every time it gets easy.
That covers your chest, triceps, shoulders, lats, biceps, upper back, quads, glutes, and your whole back side.

If you want all six built into a plan, Return on Reps is three 45 minute workouts a week, written out down to the sets and reps. You get a new program every month that builds on the last.

Before anyone comes at me per usual this isn’t a full list.
But these are what have been working for my clients, my friends, and myself.

The basic principal of eating while cutting is lower fat options. The reasoning? Fat has 9 cals per gram so that adds up fast when in a deficit.

Options like lean ground beef, turkey, and chicken breasts are excellent choices for protein. Something like potatoes for a carb, which are incredibly satiating. And don’t forget you DO need some fats, just don’t go crazy.

Welcome to LARP Maxing 101

Your brain treats future you like a stranger and that’s why when people say think about the future you don’t care as much. Which is ALSO why skipping the gym is so easy.
Future you is someone else’s problem.

The fix is to make them feel real. Pick who you want to become and start acting like him today. He preps lunch the night before and hits the gym before his first meeting.

Need a plan to LARP with? Return on Reps is a program you can follow. Comment “REPS” and I’ll send it over. by @adambecker13

Ever wonder how some people lose fat and build muscle at the same time? That’s a recomp.

Eat around maintenance, hit your protein, and lift progressively heavier so the scale barely moves while your body changes.

It’s slower than a cut or a bulk, but it’s a great fit for busy professionals who are newer to lifting or carrying a little extra fat. No extreme phases, and it fits work dinners and travel.

Potatoes are the most underrated fat loss food in the grocery store.

They ranked #1 in a satiety study, so swapping rice for potatoes at the same calories means almost double the food and no hunger an hour later. Bake, air fry, or roast them (skip the deep fryer and butter).

Want the plate sheet with 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, and 3 pre-workout snacks, all built for you so you don’t have to think?

Every excuse is just a reason you haven’t started, and none of them survive 45 minutes on the calendar and your next meal. Return on Reps is program built for busy professionals, so the only thing left to bring is showing up.
