Listen to the sirens in New York City. We barely notice them. by @adambockdrawing

Be careful who you listen to!

It’s easy for horror stories to scare you away from taking chances - warnings not to live too big or to follow your dreams or instincts are everywhere.

What is truly scary is to live a life at a safe distance.

And if you listen carefully, there’s a lot of encouragement out there.

You might be the one who should be giving the encouragement too! by @adambockdrawing

It takes a weird amount of stubbornness to do what I do. Am I gonna ruin this drawing? I’ve been working on it for days - it’s 50x38 inches.

But creating something means taking chances. So I’m gonna add hot pink and see what happens. I love pink so I’m sure it’s gonna be good.

Do you think I should do it? Oh, it’s too late. Ha ha. by @adambockdrawing

Two life lessons my parents tried to teach me, and one I wish I’d been able to teach them.

The drawing is gonna be camel-colored and hot pink. 50×32 inches, colored pencil on acid-free watercolor paper.

Looking for someone who needs a big beautiful drawing on their wall to calm them down when they come home after hard days work. by @adambockdrawing

Canadian by birth, New Yorker by address, apologizing in both.

Three words get me through every gallery opening and studio visit.“ Sorry.“ “fuck. Sorry.“ “Rude!“

Now you. You collect art. What are your three words? Tell me below.

I make original colored pencil abstract drawn with vintage Derwent pencils on acid free color paper. DM WALL if you have a space that needs one. by @adambockdrawing

How do objects hold memories? Something so small can bring us back to a moment so important. My mom’s favorite saying was “Green is for go!” I’ve got to do a green drawing. by @adambockdrawing

One original piece of art - waiting for the right wall. Every line in this drawing was made by hand, one pencil stroke at a time, thousands and thousands. Are you tired of art that looks like it could be on everyone else’s walls? by @adambockdrawing

How BIG is that drawing? A piece of art can warm up a room - can excite you every day when you see it. by @adambockdrawing

Is New York City scary? No! No! A thousand times no! Come and visit. We’ll show you. by @adambockdrawing

Art can drive you wild with joy. I make drawings - hoping for a reaction like this. by @adambockdrawing
