ch. 41 ⚡️

Grateful for all the birthday love, and for another year of reflection, and what a year it has been. Last year, on my “road to 40”, I set some goals: get stronger, push my fitness, travel more, chase adventure, and keep growing.

A year later, I’m still chasing all of it, lifting heavier, running farther and more often, saying yes to new experiences, knocking out 10Ks, and signing up for my first half marathon. Slowly becoming more the hybrid athlete I’ve been working toward, and seeing the progress from the hard work, feeling my best yet… but still not done.

Another personal win for myself as this year marks 2 years alcohol-free, two years of choosing the life I want and showing up. Somehow feeling stronger, healthier, and more alive at 41 than I ever did in my 20s or 30s. Closing out 40, with a trip to Sardinia, while shorter than I had planned on, was the icing on the cake as it’s been on my gotta visit list!

⚡️Life lately… Basically just alot of Running, Lifting, Eating, Cheesing and Vibing☀️. 665 days without Alcohol, 2.1M steps already this year, in the past month I’ve reached my highest PR’s for weights and fastest 5/10ks since starting running a year ago! Staying focused and keeping moving forward.
