We opened Ride The Cyclone this weekend and had the best audiences full of friends, family, and people who love this show as much as I do. I’m so beyond honored I get to bring Noel Gruber to life, I’m so grateful I get to share the stage with such a kind and talented cast and crew who give this show their all, and I’m so thankful for everyone who came out to support and everyone who is planning to come soon! It’s officially been 3 weeks & 4 days since we closed In the Heights at @musicaltheatrewest and I’m still not ready to say goodbye. When I was 14 years old my amazing theatre teacher @tanaeb brought our theatre class to see a production of Heights at RCC, I had no idea what the show was about and when I asked her what it was she said “it’s a rap musical”. When the show started and the neighborhood of Washington Heights came to life; it changed mine. For the first time ever I saw my Nuyorican mother and family as the leads of a musical. I fell deeply in love and it truly made me decide to do musical theatre. This production was my first time getting to do the show, 11 years later ✨. Getting to play Sonny has been one of the greatest moments of my career and getting to be a part of this insane cast, creative team, & crew was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Thank you @jessejsanchezmusic for trusting me to bring Sonny to life, I can never thank you enough. Thank you to the entire creative team & crew @alexisbsantiago @marissacreates @scottspraags @lauriemarie9 Rod Bagheri @juliannolive @aud.sm @meia.kay and so many more for all your incredibly hard work and all your kindness throughout the rehearsal process, you all supported us and lifted us up and told us we could do it. You are all true leaders I’d follow any day. To my beautiful familia of a cast; I was inspired by each and every one of you every single day of this show. You all brought everything you had and then brought more. The talent I was surrounded by was so magnificent I could not believe how lucky I was to be on that stage with you all. I am forever grateful to every person involved in this show, we made something beautiful. And of course finally to every single person that showed up for me I could never thank you all enough. Thank you for loving me and supporting me and always rooting for me, there is nothing more special to me than the love I am lucky enough to be honored with by all of you. About to begin the last weekend of my dream show so I must celebrate with an overdue opening night post. I had my closest loved ones as well as icons I’ve admired and looked up to for years in the audience. I felt proud of myself while excited to keep going and getting better. This show has been everything to me for 11 years now and this being the first time I get to do it with this cast, crew, and creative team has indeed been a dream come true. I’m so proud of myself and every single person involved in this production for giving this beautiful show their all. I’m so lucky to do this. Y finalmente, 2025 kept on blessing me 💫 I got a little role on Netflix opposite @johnmulaney , I saw Beyoncé for the second time 🏇🏼I went to New York in July to film my final scene for Saturday on the streets of Broadway. Played pickleball with my Sweeney family, went to Palm Springs, Raging Waters, Disney, Laguna Beach and Horror Nights. Celebrated @melanievillalobos_ ‘s birthday, and of course; got changed for good. Not pictured because I shockingly ran out of room but I finished the year returning gratefully to @chancetheater with Scrooge where I made even more wonderful friends. Man have I been keeping so many memories to myself instead of posting them. I’ll try to do better in 2026. Here’s to hoping there’s just as much to share next year if not more ✨ to all the wonderful people in my life I’m lucky enough to call friends. Thank you for sharing your light with me. I never actually posted when we wrapped Saturday even though I made a photo album to do just that but hey, might as well do it now before the year ends 😚 2025 was the year one of my biggest dreams came true. I got to be in an original movie musical. And it was the time of my life. David Valentine is the greatest gift of a character and I was so incredibly lucky to play him. He is fearless and brave and won’t let anyone get in the way of his Broadway dreams. I cannot thank the universe enough for not only David, but all the incredible people in both the cast and crew of @saturdaymoviemusical . The love I have for you all goes beyond words. I will never forget our rehearsals, our after rehearsal kiki’s, our filming days, or all the memories we have made post filming. You all are my family for life. I can’t wait to share what we made with the world. @dianefosterofficial ; thank you for choosing me to be your David. I can never ever thank you enough. Thank you for giving me a new family and for being the best director in town, you are our Saturday Mother forever. @markvogelmusic ; thank you for being Father Saturday and writing the truly beautiful music. 2025 Part 1 🪐 What a beautiful year it has been. I started it in New York with my best friends and my mom. Saw my friends kill it in Tick Tick Boom at my theatre home @chancetheater And then @h.adamh gave me the gift of playing Henry, The Incredible Book Eating Boy at @southcoastrep where I met and worked with the best people and gained another theatre family. I can’t even believe how fast a year passes by. And I got to spend it all with @melanievillalobos_ and @chriistinamariee , whose birthday you see pictured here at the end 😚💖 by @adamleiva
