So I've been 30 for a week.
It wouldn't be the same if I didn't post this after a bit of reflection. Thank you to everyone who came to my birthday party last weekend. I had such a great time, it was lovely seeing friendly faces and making memories, having everyone mingle was a real special sight. So. I'm 28 now. It is my birthday 🎂🎊🎉

I'm so happy, so grateful, so proud to have made it this far in life. All my friends. All my family. Everyone I love around me, they are always there for me.
I'm truly blessed. I can't wait for what this next year brings. I am so excited to learn, grow and continue to share experiences with those close and far away.

Thank you all so much for being a part of my life.

With that being said.
I don't think I've ever posted a photo quite like this before. My maternal grandfather Donald passed away when I was very young. I've been thinking recently, I wonder what he'd think of me as the man I am today. I know he loved me very much and I only hope I can continue to move forward and make everyone proud. Myself included.

It has been a busy latter half of the year.
I had the wonderful opportunity to write, pitch, produce, shoot and edit my very own short documentary working alongside ITV and Licklemor Productions as well as a fantastic group of like minded peers.

I wrote this piece about games and wanted to show how arcades have become the popular barcades they are today. This short doc is about play as a driver of social communication. Something extremely important to our societal fabric.

Games and Arcade spaces are very important to me. I have always wanted to give back to them in some way as they've given me so much joy, so many happy memories and so many professional opportunities.

With the help of a fantastic team to support me, an amazing location (NQ64 Peter Street), staff team, contributors and extras who were a pleasure to work with as well as numerous incredibly skilled game developers sharing their projects with us.
We truly made something special.

Last night was a movie

I never did get to throw a Halloween party of my own as a kid so yesterday really was such a memorable first.

Big thanks to everyone who turned up and all my love especially to my beautiful @_r_n_w_

Certain kinds of joy we shouldn't live without. I've learned that now. So glad I found it again. Cherishing it every day.

The past month has been beautiful beyond compare. From new drip to new memories made. On to the next one.

There are some things in life you'll never forget. There is no joy like being young, healthy and part of a team. I couldn't have asked for better people to work with, get to know and become friends with. Every single person I've met over these past two months has been a total star. You should have seen them... They will ALL go on to do amazing things. I can't wait to see what the future holds. I am so proud of the entire group.

I've grown and learned from every single one of them. I can shoot, edit, produce in a way I have never before. I pitched to TV network execs. I got a short doc greenlit and I made it with some of the best people I've ever met. Could not have been a better group. There are literally 600 odd pics and videos I wish I could post rn.

Going to be dropping the dates for my piece and everyone else's soon so keep your eyes peeled!

I'm so proud of us all. We really made it.

27.

What an amazing year it has been. Being 26 was so much fun.
I'm so happy to be making the steps toward this new chapter in my life. Every year I realise how truly lucky I've been to have had the upbringing and life I have. To have had and met the friends I knew and know. To have the family I do. In agreement and disagreement. Whether together or not. Near or far. To have trained with the teams I did and fought in the tournaments I have. To have been in love and hold people close. To have dealt with losses and felt the pure joy of winning. I'm just really pleased, grateful and excited to experience another year of my life. Another chapter. A new page. It starts today. If you're reading this you're a part of that story.
Here's to 27.

A lot of good things happened last month. Sometimes, it takes time to process just how happy you are. I'm making strides in so many areas.

It felt wonderful to be back in the ring again. A good win. The start of something new. A new approach. Still strong, still sharp but as always with so much to learn.

I'm already looking at new, fresh and exciting challenges while savouring and honoring the steps I and everyone who helps me took to get here.

2023 - Rebirth 🌼

Happy New Year.
It has been such an interesting year.
One full of hardship, adventure, friendship and for me, newfound happiness, joy, the rediscovery of awe and love.
I am happy in so many ways.

So I flew back home 🇬🇧.
I got back safely.
