Our short documentary, Battleground is released today. @jvsxe and I spent some time in Wisconsin recently and learned about how corporate greed, corrupt politicians, and animal exploitation run rampant in rural America. It’s a devastating reality for many, made worse by local media facing intimidation by the animal agriculture industry. However, the resilience of the communities directly impacted by these abuses left us inspired and honored to tell their story. I hope you’ll check it out. It is masterfully edited by @alugofilm for @thehumaneleague Link in bio! by @adampeditto
Today Common Enemy is released. A documentary about the human impact of factory farming. It is one of my proudest projects as a director. I spent a few weeks in Oklahoma with a small but passionate crew, meeting incredibly inspiring individuals who are, in their own way, fighting against the exploitation of corporate animal agriculture. I hope you’ll check it out and let me know what you think. Link in bio! . . It was awesome reconnecting with @ddavison to shoot this music video for his new band @unless.band with @btaylor.wav and @mikemewithoutyou. We shot this on a freezing cold night last December on a Fishtown rooftop. I think we had like 2 lights, a projector, and a lot of will power, haha. I love shooting music videos, I love this song and the whole album is gonna rip. Stay tuned for more music soon! Thank you @tes.hash for keeping us on track and @adampeditto for all the support! Some summer and some bummer. by @adampeditto
The people of Kingsboro, NC fought off a hog processing plant owned by one the largest meatpackers in the world. Now, they’re facing an eerily similar battle. In 1995, a large scale slaughterhouse posed threats including noise, air, and water pollution. Today, the proposed hyperscale data center presents a similar list of concerns, on top of skyrocketing utility bills. by @adampeditto

“They think our Oklahoma pork industry is just good old Oklahoma farmers.” Lesa Staubus, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, explains how small farmers get pushed out when a factory farm moves in. Common Enemy, produced by @thehumaneleague, shares stories from the frontlines by @adampeditto
“Nowhere else in history have animals been kept in that magnitude in a single place.” Drew Edmondson, 16th Attorney General of Oklahoma, sued some of the largest poultry giants in the world. Twenty-one years later, that case is still in court. by @adampeditto
Suzette Hatfield, a former small rancher, was organizing to hold the pork industry accountable. She started asking questions, documenting stories, and bringing people to the Capitol. Suzette was met with death threats: “Next time you come out to the Panhandle, you’re not going to make it all the way to Texas County.” by @adampeditto
“If we don’t have water, it’s over.” Pamela Kingfisher, Community Organizer and Director of Green Country Guardians, mobilized her community to push a factory farm out of Spring Creek. Two weeks later, the Cherokee Nation was able to reclaim that land. by @adampeditto
