Another successful day for our members. Cash Rumple won State Extemporaneously Speaking and Ben Beckner and Chase Brown won Ag Business Mgmt Demo. Brielle Fruechte for Creed, Bo and Bree Kohlhagen for Plant and Soil Demo, and Beth Kohlhagen for Discovery Food Science Demo all places 3rd in their individual contest. The Novice Parli team also received their 2nd place plaque from this past year. 
Cash Rumple was also installed as the new District VIII President. Great job to everyone that completed by @adams.central.ffa

Congrats to Mason Fruechte for 1st place on his Fiber and Oil Proficiency and State Star Ag Placement finalist.  Also receiving their state degree were: Cooper Steele, Cash Rumple, and Jasper Shuck. These boys have worked hard on their SAE programs and all their hard work has paid off. Great job! by @adams.central.ffa

Today was the start of State Convention with 15 students competing in LDE’s. Quiz Bowl-Mayah Steele, Sophie Kipfer, Maddy Martin, and Eleanor Minnich, Discovery Animal Science Demo- Conner Lehman and Reagan Brite, Discovery Food Science Demo- Beth Kohlhagen, Freshman Creed- Brielle Fruechte, Freshman Public Speaking- Maddy Martin, Extemporaneous- Cash Rumple, Plant and Soil Demo- Bo and Bree Kohlhagen, Ag Business Management Demo- Chase Brown and Ben Beckner. And Multimedia scrapbook- Ella Bluhm.  We have 5 areas make Top 4. Discovery Food Science, Plant and Soil Demo, Extemp, Creed, and Ag Business Demo. Those results are Thursday morning. 
Members then finished off a big day at Birdies with food and Putt-Putt by @adams.central.ffa

Congrats to Adams Central FFA members who competed at the state Dairy Judging and Dairy Handlers contest.  The contest was held at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds.  Students judged 6 classes and junior high gave 2 sets of reasons and seniors gave 2 set of reasons.  In the junior division, the team of Kaine Buchan, Conner Lehman, and Logan Beer placed 4th as a team in reasons and 8th overall. Logan was 7th in placing, 7th in reasons and 4th overall in the junior division.  Senior division results: In placing only, Ben Hirschy was 9th, Cooper Steele was 4th and Bo Kohlhagen was 2nd. In overall reasons, Ben was 10th, Kale Beer was 6th, Kley Beer was 3rd, and Cooper was 1st overall. Overall (both placing and reasons) individual placings, Bo was 8th, Ryan Beer 7th, Kale was 6th, Ben was 4th, and Cooper was high overall individual at the contest. Team placings in senior division: The team of Clayton Minnich, Sophia Mudd, Bo, and Ryan placed 4th overall in placing only and 5th overall with placing and reasons scores, missing out of 4th place to attend a National contest by 2 points. The team of Cooper, Kale, Ben, & Kley was 1st overall in reasons team, placings team and combined reasons and placings team in the state. They will compete at Nationals next fall. 
In the Dairy handler contest, Beth Kohlhagen was 2nd Individual and Bree Kohlhagen 4th place.  Both members showed the cattle for the competition against other students. Congrats to all students on a great day. by @adams.central.ffa

Congrats to our members who qualified for state with their proficiency. Cooper Steele, Bo Kohlhagen, Cash Rumple, and Mason Fruechte each submitted an application about their SAE projects. Mason will compete at nationals this summer with his Fiber and Oil production SAE after placing 1st at the state level. by @adams.central.ffa
