This is a new phase 2 shape I’m calling the Kingfisher. I built one for myself and then a customer commissioned one with a channel similar to the Mind Trick. Great idea. The combination of the narrow swallow and v channel results in fantastic rail contact and more aggressive tail rocker. Perfect for a steep, powerful wave like phase 2. taken in Corridor Surf Shop & Necessary Goods by @adamzerza

Last year I had the opportunity to retrieve this 1963 Land Rover series 2a. This is an original Idaho car and to my knowledge has lived in Boise its whole life. There is not a lot of sale data of these in the states but the total for every year of the series 2a is around 4000. It has been a fun challenge to work on as parts are scarce and sometimes non existent. Even finding wheels I could put tubeless tires on was a challenge. I replaced the plugs, wires, and coil, freed the seized starter motor, cleaned the points ignition, converted it to negative ground, and rebuilt the original solex carburetor. This was especially challenging because I couldn’t find any parts at all for it. I cut my own gaskets, repaired the aluminum emulsion tube housing that snapped when I was tightening the jet back in, and even 3d printed a new accelerator pump diaphragm out of tpu. Each part was meticulously cleaned both by hand and in an ultrasonic cleaner. After all that and evicting about 50 wasp nests, for the first time since 1986, I was able to get it started. Idles like it hasn’t been 40 years. There’s loads more work to do, just about everything that can leak does. The gaskets are all made of cork, leather, or asbestos. It doesn’t hold coolant, has no brakes, and there’s puddles of various fluids scattered around the whole thing. This is going to be a long term restoration project, it’s gonna be sweet when I’m done. by @adamzerza

Last winter I rescued a blown up 1991 Toyota pickup that had been sitting for 15+ years. New 22re from Import Engine Supply, new suspension, new brakes (disc brake conversion in the rear), new fuel tank, all new accessories and hoses, 1” lift, new wheels and bfg ko2’s, and much more. Took hundreds of hours and help from friends, including my girlfriend who helped me drop the motor in. Within a week of finishing it I bought a 1963 Land Rover that had been sitting for 39 years so I’m sure that’ll fire right up. I might have a problem by @adamzerza
