OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM A DASH OF ADORABLE 🎀

In light of recent allegations regarding working conditions inside the Glitter Department, we feel it is important to address the situation.

We have conducted a thorough internal investigation and found absolutely nothing suspicious.

The employee spelling SOS in Morse code with paint markers was simply demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.

My husband repeatedly shaking his head “no” while saying “I love working with my wife” appears to be an unfortunate neck spasm.

My son giving the universal sign for HELP while reading his prepared statement that I am “the most amazing mom” was clearly just…stretching his hands.

And while my husband claims he still wears the pants in this family…

the tutu footage speaks for itself. 🎀😂

We categorically deny any suggestion that the Chief Glitter Officer rules this organization with an iron glue gun.

Our workplace remains filled with joy, creativity, glitter and completely voluntary declarations of how wonderful Mom is.

No further questions at this time.

Our legal team has advised us to stop talking. 😂✨

Plot twist: the Chief Glitter Officer isn’t just crafting with Fortune 500 companies. ✨

By day, I help bring teams together through creativity, building custom branded craft experiences for some of the biggest companies in the world.
My favorite part? Reminding employees that it’s never too late to try something new, create something beautiful, and believe in themselves again.

But when the glitter settles, I’m also a wife to my sidekick hubby (who joins me on crafting adventures). A mom to two 6-foot-tall boys who somehow still keep life interesting with their tiny zoo of snakes, an axolotl, stick bugs, and one very opinionated Yorkie.

This little business has given me a front-row seat to incredible people, unforgettable events, and countless moments of joy. And behind every corporate event, craft table, and custom project is a real family cheering me on.

🤠 Welcome to the Rhinestone Rodeo! ✨

Cowboy boots? Blinged.
Cowboy hats? Blinged.
Longhorns? You better believe they’re blinged. 😂✨

I absolutely loved all the glitz, glamour, and Wild West fun of this event, but my favorite part had nothing to do with the rhinestones.

It was knowing that all this grown-up play was helping support a children’s school fundraiser. ❤️

Because sometimes adults need permission to play too.

To sit down.
Make something.
Laugh with friends.
Add WAY too many rhinestones. 😂
And forget about the grown-up stuff for a little while.

And when that play helps create something meaningful for kids?

Well, that’s my kind of rodeo. 🤠💖

Give me an event full of adults, a pile of craft supplies, a little country music, and enough sparkle to be seen from the next county…

Some monsters are not meant to be cuddled. Instead, they need a little room to play!

Mix. Match. Layer. Create.

With a rainbow of pom poms and a few delightfully goofy details, everyone gets to create a monster that’s as wonderfully unique as they are. 👀🧶✨

And that’s what I love about crafting together.

There’s no “right” monster.

No perfect combination.

No two creations have to look alike.

Just a whole bunch of people letting their creativity run wild and discovering that sometimes the best things happen when you stop worrying about getting it right.

Because your inner monster?

Sometimes we are so good at loving everyone else…

but when it comes to ourselves, we’re the first person we forget.

😩We get tired.
🥺We get discouraged.
😢We wonder if we’re doing enough.
😭Sometimes we even wonder if we should just give up.

That’s why I love the idea behind these Leather Love Letters. 🫶🏼💌

Layer by layer, we created these little mountain landscapes from plain and patterned leather.

Because mountains don’t ask us to be perfect.

They just remind us to keep climbing.

And sometimes the person who needs the encouragement most is you.

So grab a piece of paper and write yourself a handwritten love letter.

Tell yourself what you would tell your best friend:

💌You are doing better than you think.
💌You are allowed to rest.
💌You are worthy of love.
💌You can start again.
💌And please, please don’t give up on yourself.

Keep the letter.

Read it on the hard days.

Because life will change. People will change. Chapters will end and new ones will begin.

But you?

You have to keep showing up for you. 🫶🏼

YO HO HO… and a whole lot of crafting! 🏴‍☠️✨

There’s something ridiculously fun about taking a game we love and turning it into something you can MAKE.

For this Skull King game day, we laser engraved wooden keychains, then brought them to life with a little color and a whole lot of creative joy. 🎨🪵

And yes… the upside-down rotation was absolutely necessary. 😂

Because every time I watch these little beauties spin from raw wood to a finished craft, all I can picture is pirates hanging upside down yelling:

YO HO HO! 🏴‍☠️

Now imagine a room full of people playing Skull King, crafting their own little pirate treasures, laughing, cheering, and making memories together.

Crafts + Grandpa Beck’s Games = what could possibly be better? 🃏🥰

That’s the kind of game day I want to be part of.

He asked me to play Murph. 😭

He knew exactly what scene he wanted.

And then he looked at me and said, “Don’t let me leave, Murph.”

Well… apparently he forgot that his momma has FEELINGS. 😭

Because I didn’t even have to act.

I was already sobbing.

Our house is full of boxes, hugs, tears, laughter, and that strange ache that comes when you realize the little boy you spent years raising is actually ready to go.

I know he’s supposed to leave.

I know this is good.

I know he’s going to grow, learn, discover who he is, and become even more wonderfully himself.

But knowing something is right doesn’t make it easy.

There’s a very strange kind of heartbreak in watching your child step toward the life you prayed they would have.

Because you want them to go.

You just wish you could somehow go with them.

So, Dino Man…

I can’t promise I won’t cry.

I can’t promise I won’t stare at your empty room.

And I definitely can’t promise I won’t miss you every single day.

But I can promise this:

I will never stop being your home.

Go explore.

Go become.

Go chase the stars.

And when the world feels too big, remember there is a momma back here who loves you more than words could ever hold. 🌎❤️

Now please stop making me recreate emotionally devastating movie scenes during the most emotionally devastating week of my life. 😭😂

Sometimes you go even when you don’t want to. 💖

Dino Man chose this quote. And somehow, it feels like the perfect one for this moment. 🥹

It’s the second-to-last day before our oldest heads off to college.

He just submitted his mission papers, which means after his fall semester, he’ll be heading away for two years.

So much change.

And if I’m being honest… my mama heart is struggling to keep up. 😭

But my husband reminded me of the story behind this video.

I recorded it during COVID, on one of those rainy, miserable days when we really didn’t want to leave the house.

Our family had committed to hiking every day that May.

So even though the weather was awful, we went anyway.

And somehow, after all that rain, we found THIS.

A gorgeous sunset over Clayton Beach.

Not a single drop of rain.

Just this unexpected, beautiful reminder that sometimes you have to keep moving through the uncomfortable part to discover what’s waiting on the other side. 🌅

Maybe that’s what we’re doing again.

Dino Man is learning to embrace the change.

And Mom and Dad and his brother are learning to embrace it too.

Because change can be hard.

Change can hurt.

But change can also push us forward, open doors we never imagined, and lead us somewhere beautiful.

So here we go, kiddo.

Keep moving forward.

We’ll be right here, cheering you on through every new chapter. ❤️

And maybe, when it feels hard, remember this sunset.
