These past few months have been hard but this is by far one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. I’m so grateful for all my friends and family that have been with me and stuck with me along the ride to get to where i am today. God sees when you’re struggling and barely hanging in there. God sees when you are so full of happiness. If you lean on him and give him a chance you will see a big difference in yourself and how you handle situations. God hears your prayers. God sees the tears. Nobody in the world can give you the peace and the happiness that the lord can give you. I hope this can also encourage someone to give their life to Christ.

A verse that has stuck with me recently is Exodus 14:14- “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” There will always be trials and tribulations in life, but God will carry you through every storm in your life. This is not a typical kinda post i would make but it’s been real heavy on my heart recently and maybe it can help someone else… I recently have been reminded of how fast your life can be flipped upside down in the matter of seconds, me and my family had taken a trip to tennessee in october and everything was great, I was healthy and the day before we were supposed to come home I had a headache and that headache eventually turned into me getting sick, that sunday we went to immediate care and they did tests, all of them came back negative they told me to take it easy and let the virus run its course, so that’s what i was gonna do..

Tuesday morning comes along and my legs and head felt so heavy it hurt to walk, i knew that something worse was going on so that same morning my dad took me to the er and all my numbers were out of wack and really high, so that evening they decided to admit me and give me a bunch of antibiotics and run every single test you could think of, Ct, Echocardiogram, Ultrasounds, Ekg’s & etc. They came back the next day and told me that my heart was very weak, and that i had a blood clot in my left ventricle.. if i would’ve came in any later we don’t know how much worse it could have gotten.

I was transferred to CHOA 2 days after i was admitted. They ran the same tests plus a Mri, they told us the same thing and nobody had any answers all they could say was that it was caused by a virus and that I just got unlucky.

In Proverbs 3:5– it says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” This verse calls us to place our trust fully in God, even when things don’t make sense. Trusting in His guidance leads to a path of peace and fulfillment!

Always remember to be grateful for the tiny moments and tell the people you love that you love them, we aren’t promised tomorrow! TYJ for everything 🩷🩷

There are so many things in life that we can’t control.
We can’t control the weather. We can’t control what people say about us. We can’t control what happens to us. The list goes on and on. Though there are so many things we can’t control, we can control where we place our faith. If you are facing a storm today, with God’s help, don’t put your faith in what you see, but instead put your faith in what God says and who He is. Never let the presence of a storm cause you to doubt the presence of God. Because true peace is not found in the absence of a storm. True peace if found in the presence of God. Following jesus as a teenager is hard. Because this world is gonna hate you. This world is gonna persecute you but just know John 15:18- “If the world hates you just know it hated me first.” all Jesus done on this world was shed light love truth and redemption. But they hated Jesus for it they killed Jesus for it. So what makes you think this world will love you? what makes you think this world will accept you? As christians we know the truth. but this world is so grounded in their sin they love it too much. They see you walking in the truth they see you striving to walk like Jesus and persecute you for it. But just know Roman 8:18 says “our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us” so stand firm in the truth and let nobody shake you. God sees the works you are doing for the kingdom and he is very pleased. continue to walk the path Jesus has for you. He loves you. ❤️ by @addie.reesee
