~Bye bye highschool🎉🎉Thank you high-school, athletics, teammates, friends, family, and especially the Lord. I thank everyone for all the memories. Peace out high-school you taught me so many lifelong valuable lessons.🥹🥳Today, I officially close this book and open a new one to write a new story. Keeping all the memories in mind I am so ready to grow as an individual, and can’t wait to see where my road leads. Forever grateful!💛🤍 by @addison_mae08

~ The final race. ~ This is the hardest goodbye I have to say. For as long as I can remember I have love track, it’s has genuinely made the biggest impact on my life. 8th grade year all I ever dreamed to do was run a race at state. Unfortunately freshman year I didn’t stick with it. Sophomore year I joined back and will the help of @talli_belcher_ I qualified for state, unfortunately the nerves got to me. Junior year was so good. Not only did I qualify for state but so did @stonemckay_ and @wilkerson.draven and wow what a time we had. Again the nerves hurt us all and we came up short. Finally my last year of track there was 4 of us who made state. So grateful for my girl @bellaberry640 . All I wanted was 1 medal. I had finally qualified for finals and was running with the top 7 other girls in class A. As fate would have it I fell just short of the medal placing 7/8. As soul crushing as it was it was one hell of a run. I wouldn’t have wished for any other ending. Im so grateful for the lifelong friendships track has given me and I am forever proud of my teammates. I can’t wait to see where they go from here. Thank you Tharp for everything you have done for me. Pushing me athletically and in my own mind. Forever grateful to have had a coach like you. My athletic journey is officially over, I am now officially a NARP.😕 by @addison_mae08

Wow… posting this makes everything real. For the last 14 years of my life I have played this sport. Playing softball has taught me so much that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. From the first time lacing up my cleats to playing and winning a game in the state tournament and finally to the last time I tied my laces,I have cherished every moment. The late nights, the early mornings, the hard practices, the bruises, the cuts, and every single game. I will forever hold all the memories close to my heart, for they have made me who I am today. To my coaches: Thank you for every practice, every game, every hour, and every single minute of your life you gave away to me to make me a better athlete. Thank you for always yelling at me, encouraging or discouraging I always listened. No matter how frustrated you guys got you never once gave up on me and I am eternally grateful. Also thank you Meredith for putting up with all of us and dealing with your husband when we pissed him off. To my teammates: How lucky am I to have grown up playing softball with such an amazing group of girls. Thank you guys for sticking by my side for every hard practice, every long day, and every W we had to run. Even on our worst days (running death hill) I felt truly blessed to just be with you guys. To all the underclassmen, keep going and never doubt yourself. I am always one call away and I know you guys will do great things. To the seniors: Playing this sport with you guys has truly changed my life. I was so ready to quit and give up because I was so frustrated and upset and you guys never once failed to pick me up and put a smile on my face.Softball has been one of the biggest blessings in my life that I will never forget. I am so blessed for every coach and teammate I have had. From T-Ball to Travel Ball, and even to high-school, I felt like softball gave me an escape. Thank you mom and dad for forcing me to stick it out and play, no matter how much I “hated” it. It is honestly heartbreaking knowing I will never play competitive softball again, but I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me. Thank you everyone, and thank you softball. #7 officially signing out. by @addison_mae08
