how lucky am i to get to celebrate LOVE!!!
our wedding day was special for a million reasons.

my dad built the altar and oh so graciously hosted the wedding at his house.
stephen’s dad officiated our marriage.
i wore my nana’s rings, stephen wore his grandfather’s tiepin, and we both wore flowers in our hair.
we both wish they could have been there to join us.
my sister payton thrifted and curated our tables, including our darling sweetheart table.
my mom helped me and dear friends with last-minute hair&makeup.
stephen’s mom gave a speech that brought us to tears.
charlotte made our cake, absolutely bursting with flavor, flowers, and love.
lydia knit stephen’s tie and i designed and sewed the leafy top of my dress.
andy helped us craft the cocktails based on our very first date when we went to lake effect.
renea grew and arranged all the beautiful flowers for the altar, boutonnières, bouquets, vases, cake, and tables.
my aunt anna made the sourdough we used for communion and marked it with a cross.
lucia, who i used to sing in choir with, serenaded us for the evening.

there are so many more elements and people that were special and deserve recognition and surely, more than i am even aware of.
i am deeply thankful for every person’s affection and effort and am beyond lucky to get to cherish this day in my memory forever!!! by @addisoncambia

Meet our 2026 performers!

Addison Cambia (she/her) “I am a performing artist currently involved as a choreographer, performer, musician, and teacher of contemporary dance forms. My work revolves around themes of human connection, kinesthetic investigation, and an intimate relationship with music. Working toward a Doctorate of Physical Therapy highlights my passion for working with the body in both an empirical and artistic manner. As a queer woman, I find joy in community and am so excited to be a part of PlayGround!” @addisoncambia
