Today marks my completion of 35 years on planet Earth. This one does feel different than yesterday’s wake up, like I am a different person than my younger self’s. Still the endearing me but chiseled into a deeper cause of I am. With a grateful & awe-struck heart of how grand it all is, I feel like an apprentice directing my cause in observing as much as I can. I promise it is all that deep, and I promise it should put the fear of God in you. I love people that love God & I love people that don’t. Be good and take care of yourself. I genuinely believe Austin, Texas is the most promising city in America. People love to hate on us, even some of our own neighbors give us grieve. Nonetheless, the hate is evidence we are doing something great. When I observe our city I quickly realize this is exactly the type of place I want to be surrounded by and to call home. We are walking into our prime time just like LA was during 1900-1920s,, we are establishing the dream ideal city just like LA did in her infancy. We have many golden decades ahead of us, we are America’s future powerhouse! Another truth is we have plenty of resources to house millions more, despite the majority’s scarcity’s mindset, the numbers show- we are safe, and much safer than other major cities. We must quit this hate and repulsion of transplants- when they move here, they are our neighbors and we should welcome them as such. Anyone who complains about traffic here is way to sheltered, please visit Houston, Atlanta, or LA then please don’t return with the nerve to get upset during or in subject of traffic. One more note; Austin is still weird, everyone is welcomed to be their weird selves here,, Austin knew in the 90s she was a baddie,, so it should be no wonder why she attracted all the sexiest, most beautiful weirdos that live here today. It all starts at local community, so please Austinites let’s love this place and take pride. We may be in our infancy still but when we grow up we will be the leaders of this nation. Death has reared himself a throne, in a weird city lying alone. Far down within the dim West, where the good and the bad and the worst and the best have gone to their eternal rest. No rays from the holy heaven come down on the long nighttime of that town. But light from out the lurid lake streams up the turrets silently. Up domes, up spires, up kingly halls, up fanes, up Babylonian-like walls, up shadowy long-forgotten bowers of sculptured ivory and stone flowers. Resignedly beneath the sky the melancholy waters lie. But lo, a stir is in the air! A wave, there is movement there! The waves have now a redder glow. The hours are breathing, faint and low.
