an amazing summer

woah God was so evident this summer! through the busyness he reminded me to stay rooted finding joy and fulfillment in him alone. He taught me more lessons than i can count, which i’m ever grateful for. i’m constantly reminded of how He uses even our lowest and toughest moments to teach us, grow us, and draw us closer to Him. and that’s what’s so amazing about our God!!

one of the last chapels of last semester we talked all about intentionality and how we should carry that into our summer. focused around the question “who do you want to be in August?” recognizing that we shouldn’t waste our summer but use it as continued growth while at home. being out of the SBU bubble can teach you a lot. removing chapel, loca, the Christ centered community, routines or whatever it may be can be difficult. this is where being intentional really matters. learning to do ordinary things with gospel intentions. use the ordinary that God gives to serve him and give him all the glory. and wow did God teach me how to do that this summer!! taken in Oklahoma by @addysonbeach

wishing i had five more minutes

This team, my coaches and teammates, people that make it so incredibly hard to leave. People that have become more than just coaches and teammates but a family who was always there for me when I needed it most.

The program that built me, and shaped me into the person I am today. I’m thankful that it taught me how to lead when it’s difficult but most importantly how to be a better person. Thank you Bixby Track for everything!
