Today, I released “Butterfly,” the first single from my project, Death Dive.

I didn’t expect to introduce this project with a cover of my favorite @weezer song, but after hearing it mixed and mastered by @simonjacobssonmusic - it felt right.

My friend @adeafrances sang on this track with me and really brought it to life with her incredible voice. I’m grateful she agreed to be part of it.

A full-length album is coming soon, likely independently. So many friends helped shape that record, and hearing the finished mixes and masters from @christeti @blackfreighter and @willputney has made it feel incredibly real.

Being an independent artist is a privilege. It’s also incredibly scary. I’m grateful for the freedom to make something personal, on my own timeline, but there were plenty of moments when I questioned what I was doing.

I started Death Dive to help make sense of what I was feeling. Somewhere in the process, I stopped questioning whether that was a good enough reason.

“Butterfly” is out now on streaming platforms. Thank you for listening. 🦋

We are exactly one month away from our show at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn. That’s right! Friday, September 11th at 8PM we kick off this incredibly stacked bill. Here’s a little bit about each band performing.

Atomic Life is a Long Island-based alternative rock supergroup formed by pillars of the New York hardcore scene. The band features Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Ho9909) on drums, Juanchi (Zeta) on guitar, Michael Sadis(NK, The Rivalry) on bass, and vocalist Adea Frances

LaMacchia is the band led by John LaMacchia (Candiria, Julie Christmas) and includes members of On The Might Of Princes and Silent Mass with Michael MacIvor of Candiria on bass as well.

Blood Vulture is a gothic sludge metal project formed in 2025 in New York, serving as the primary musical outlet for Jordan Olds, the corpse-painted host of the YouTube show Two Minutes to Late Night.

Paloma Blanco is a singer and songwriter from New York City with a voice that will knock your head off. Her band also includes drummer Jason Crawford (Silent Mass, LaMacchia)

This is going to be an incredible night of fun times and great music. Tickets are $15 advance and $20 at the door.

Moved to Florida a year ago today… met some of the best people on the planet here, fell in love with butterflies and alligators, and touched some sand.

It’s not too late to figure out what plants the pollinators in your area need to thrive, and big reminder that libraries have seed catalogues for free if you don’t want to spend any money.

Every time I find myself heartbroken over the world I try to turn to the smallest things to nurture.
