In times of chaos, we compose prayers.
Baba mi jowo, Father, please.
Let there be mercy. Let there be peace. Let there be restoration. 🕊️

Rehearsal Day 1
Working on Afrobeats with the choir and directing over 100 students for a concert exam hasn’t been easy, It’s been challenging but rewarding, teaching me patience and leadership. Grateful for my amazing team and exceptional musicians for making it all worthwhile.

And yet another reason to celebrate! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of our own Tumininu, Adebayo Tunmininu, on being awarded Music Composer of the Year for the 2025/26 Academic Session by the Faculty of Creative Arts, University of Lagos.

What a beautiful recognition of his creativity, musicianship and growing contribution to music.

From taking the solo in our performance of “I’ll Be On My Way” during the funeral service to receiving this wonderful honour, it has certainly been a memorable weekend for him.

Congratulations, Tumininu! We celebrate you and this well-deserved achievement. 🎶👏🏾 by @adebayotumi

A weekend of music, family, friendship and remembrance.

On Thursday, Octaaf joined our church family at All Saints Anglican Church, Yaba, as we stood with our founding member and strong pillar, our beloved Uncle Rotimi Aju @olurotimiaju , and his family in honour of his late grandmother.

Alongside the church choir, Octaaf ministered during the funeral service with a special performance of “I’ll Be On My Way” by Shawn Kirchner, featuring our own Tumininu @adebayotumi as soloist and @babslord on the organ.

It was a solemn and deeply meaningful moment for us all.

Here’s a snippet of the Octaaf Choir, conducted by Tope Olagunju @olagunju_tope , captured from the church’s livestream. We apologise for the low video and audio quality. by @adebayotumi
