My baby, 🥹❤️

It has been a long way coming for both of us for real.

I remember when I first met you. Who would have thought that we would become this close, or even come this far? We were just two timid little girls who met in the same class. We didn’t even know what being best friends meant, and we definitely didn’t know that one day, we would look back at those little moments and cherish them so deeply.

If someone had told those two little girls that they would grow up together, go through different phases of life together, watch each other change, grow, cry, laugh, make mistakes, celebrate wins, and still be here after 10 whole years, I honestly don’t think we would have believed them. 🥺

But look at us now. 🥹❤️

God has indeed ordained this friendship. God has blessed us with each other, and I will never take that for granted. I genuinely believe that some people are placed in our lives by Allah for a reason, and you are one of those people for me.

Thank you for growing with me. Thank you for staying. Thank you for knowing me in ways I sometimes don’t even know myself. Thank you for all the laughter, the gist, the silly moments, the serious conversations, the random memories, and even the moments when we didn’t have to say much because we just understood each other.

We’ve come such a long way, my baby. And honestly, when I think about how young we were when all of this started, it makes me so emotional. 🥺 We didn’t know we were creating memories that we would one day look back on and say, “Ahhh, see how far we’ve come.”

God has been so good to us.

I pray we continue to win together, celebrate each other’s victories, show up for each other, and watch each other become everything we’ve always wanted to be.

What a beautiful journey it has been.

I love you so much, my baby. My best friend. My woman. My person. ❤️

Here’s to us, to everything we’ve been, everything we are, and everything we’re still going to become together.

Today, I look back and all I can say is Thank You, Lord. 🙏🏽

For every late night, every uncertainty, every moment I wondered if I would make it here, You were there. For the strength I didn’t know I had, the grace that carried me, the people You placed along the way, and every door You opened when I couldn’t see a way forward, I am deeply grateful.

This is a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

I may have worked for it, but I know who made the journey possible.
