“Seasons aren’t measured by time but purpose.” - Adebimpe

Celebrating my 25th is not just an opening chapter for what lies ahead but it’s also a year that I can look back and see how far GOD has brought me. I guess I can no longer use the excuse “I’m still young” (tho technically I am hehe) but to embrace a new and mature version of me.

In the next few years I want to say I’ve achieved 1 or 2 things This may sound drastically small but the truth is, finding fulfillment, multiplication and reaching excellence of that very thing, is what makes it worth the while.

Life is not to be rushed, but embraced and in that you’d find satisfaction and joy. All of GOD’s beautiful creation reveal one thing and that is Seasons. Seasons aren’t measured by time but purpose.

You’ve shown me Love isn’t just a feeling...its a decision.
It’s a consistent choice to keep on being committed and confident in one person...

They say Marriage is not for the Weak...
But I say when strength is made available, marriage is at its Peak.

They say marriage is two joining together. I say Marriage is joining Three. Yes, you, me and GOD.

That is my confidence. Christ is my confidence... therefore you become my confidence.

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬-‭5‬……A life resting in Jesus Christ becomes light! And when storms of life & darkness (which is seasonal) comes, I can stand on His word!

What does it mean “darkness did not comprehend it”? It simply means when situations arise that should cripple you (mentally, physically, spiritually) the outcome was different than anticipated…

That darkness should have produced depression, yet it made me resilient. That stone thrown because a stepping stone… yes that test…became my testimony!!!

That Light, that truth shines in the darkness and the darkness could not comprehend ME!!

Choose today to stand on His word! His Promises are true..believe me. Choose to put your life in Jesus, and see how everything around becomes light. by @adebihh

All I can say is GOD has been faithful indeed!

The world can offer you charm and beauty but….it still leaves you empty.

Many times we look to things or people around us to give us value…..I found myself doing that a lot but the more I did, the less joyful, glad and fulfilled I was.

That journey was simply a reminder to return back to my first Love. Jesus Christ. It’s only in Him I was sincerely satisfied, it’s only in Him I found my identity again! It’s only in Him that I realised I had much more value than I was desiring from those around me.

This year was really a reminder that my identity is found in Christ alone! by @adebihh
