ONE MONTH WITHOUT YOU

Y’all see my strength - daddy tell em I am weak
Y’all see my smile- daddy tell em I am sad
Y’all look into my eye - daddy tell em it’s cloudy
Y’all feel my heart - daddy tell ‘em it’s empty
You leaving, has put a sour taste in my mouth
Happiness seems ordinary
Sadness feels normal ,
Pain I can understand, but I don’t know where it’s coming from ..
My best friend, my daddy, my confidant .. leaving me has left me empty ..
Everything seems like a vacuum..
