I never really celebrated my birthdays, not even as a child. I was shy, often on my own, and birthdays were never something I made a big deal about.

I’ve grown so much since then. Travelling solo gave me the chance to get to know myself, while meeting people from different walks of life taught me how much there is to learn from one another. Being able to understand where people come from, even when their experiences are different from mine, is a gift.

We’re all going through a lot in our own ways. But I’ve learned that with support, friendship, and simply showing up for one another, we can become the best versions of ourselves. The people we meet and the friendships we build create little ripples of connection that can shape our lives in ways we don’t always realize.

So this year, I chose to celebrate surrounded by friends who have made a difference in my life, people who have supported me, made me laugh, challenged me, showed up for me, and reminded me that I have a community here.

Thank you for meeting me in this new version of my life. 🤍

And a special thank you to @glam_by_giigii for my hair and makeup and for glamming me up for the night. I swear I couldn’t even recognize myself. 😂✨

And of course, a special thank you to @halina.yvr for having us and giving us the most beautiful Filipino feast to celebrate with. Sharing food that feels like home with people who have become part of my life is definitely a core 2026 memory. 🇵🇭❤️
