On my Birthday, I want to share why I go home and lie in my bed teary-eyed after finding myself in rooms I once dreamt to be in, with people I’ve admired for so long…!

Born in Lahore, Pakistan, to hardworking, enterprising parents. I emigrated to London as a child, supported my school and university years with scholarships, graduated twice, married my university first-love, and opened my first clinic in an office building behind Harrods. Fully self-funded.

Today, I’m fortunate enough to host global residencies across LA, London, NYC and beyond, work with one of the most famous faces, and to write as a contributing beauty editor for Financial Times HTSI, the very magazine I subscribed to at 16, using my Dad’s credit card, because I loved that world and longed to be part of it.

Today, I live and breathe that dream that I turned into my world.

And yet, the part I’m most grateful for has never been the rooms, the places or the milestones. It’s the people. The faces I’ve cared for, the hands I’ve held, the secrets they’ve trusted me with, the relationships built through the intimacy of touch, and the lives I’ve been privileged to be a small part of.

I have never taken this journey for granted. Ever. Not for a single moment. And there’s still a lot to learn & grow….🫶🏼🙏🏼

More than a brunch - @hollywoodreporter A-List Aesthetics Brunch in LA was a gathering of the minds shaping the future of aesthetics.
