Imagine not wearing the top/Jeans you planned to because you felt too self conscious because your a little thicker than you used to be 🙄😂
Next time I'm just saying fuck it and wearing it because now looking at the pics before I had a melt down and got changed into my brown dress I think it actually looked fine!! FML.😅

Let me tell you about my dad.
My dad taught me what a great father is.

He is a father who provides for his child & grandchildren - provides love, care, support, (occasionally when drunk he offers some words of affirmation too 😂- that's his weak point but I know he is proud) and over the years financially and practical help too. He's been there through the good and bad days.

He shares his words of advise and criticism at times ("why do you need a new dress at a camp site" comes to mind!) which is not always appreciated 😂🤔

He knows what's going on in his child's life even when the child is a 35 year old mama of 4.

He is a father that offers practical support such as taking you to find a new car or when your a 20 year old Single mum with 2 kids and you desperately need to move into his home 😳😂

He is a father that helps with practical things as required too - I've had many car issues over the years, breakdown and recovery, new tyres, making sure the Mot doesn't run out, switching the car insurance so it's cheaper for you because your too scared to make calls about it yourself 😂 provides free loving childcare so you can go to work or attend university to better yourself for your children's future.

He is a father who doesn't mind helping - cutting the lawn or painting the bathroom if you want support to do it. He doesn't mind any DIY jobs and if he comes and sees the pile of pots or over flowing bins he will do them and take away excessive rubbish to the tip too.

My father has taken us on UK mini trips and camping trips. He's shown up and has shown the kids what a great grandfather looks like and what a good role model to the boys he is too - ( minus the alcohol consumption of course)

I'm lucky I got a Great father and my children get to experience life with a hands on grandfather.

And let's not forget my dad took a chance to date a single mother of 4 children and subsequently ended up with not only me but other children and grandchildren from that, whom over the years he's been very supportive of in many ways.

So here's to my dad on father's day!!

May been the best month this year so far ( barely been in work) 😂😂😂😅😅🎉
