ON the stage??

i can’t believe my first play was also my last. pit was by far my favorite thing i did in high school, and im so grateful i had the opportunity to play for one last show. this show brought me the best people to be surrounded by, and i loved my first experience of getting dressed and doing my hair and makeup with everyone. this show felt the most like family and i can’t believe my time with this program is really over now. adele gropp, signing out of the pit for the last time 💕🎵 taken in Fishers High School by @adelegropp

i am so incredibly grateful to have gotten to play one final show with such an amazing group of people. when the show was announced in may, i was under the impression that there wouldn’t be a pit orchestra, only synthesizer and trumpet. i thought that i had played my last show without knowing it, and wouldn’t get to take a senior bow. fast forward to november, and i’m onstage, taking that senior bow! im thankful for the re-arranged parts (i got to play bass line!) that made that experience possible. mean girls was such a fun show, i will miss everything about pit, mouthing along to the funny lines with all of my best friends under the stage, running around backstage, all of our food and candy, and even the long rehearsals. all of the amazing people that put on this show made those so worth it. it’s such a melancholy thought that this show is a wrap for my pit experience. the last 3 years have passed more quickly than i ever believed they could and pit was probably my favorite thing that i did in high school 💕🎻 taken in Fishers High School by @adelegropp
