First time directing a commercial in the beauty space…and apparently we don’t know how to do things small 😅 Had the privilege to direct @potiobeauty’s #AfterSummer campaign and we went all out! Random one: filmmakers, photographers and people that like pretending they know lighting 😂…one of these scenes was shot at night. Which one? Wrong answers are welcome. Confidence is more important🙂‍↔️ Drop a gif in the comments to let me know what you think about our project💙💙 Dream Team: Director: @adeleke__f Producer: @alan_poser Production company: @equinoxstudios.ng Line producer: @thedrdonald Asst. New work for Wharton University of Pennsylvania x Ministry of Art & culture x National theatre. Wore multiple hats on this one (director/Cinematogrpaher/editor/colorist) but it was a beautiful experience watching foreigners interact and experience our culture, would definitely do this again. 2/3 from the @potiobeauty #AfterSummer campaign I Created and directed. This one started as a last-minute idea and somehow became one of my favorite pieces from the campaign. This is the part of directing I enjoy most…finding the film that wasn’t obvious when the brief first landed. If you’re sending us a brief, just know we’re probably going to start asking, “what else can this become?” That tends to be where the interesting stuff starts. We took the idea from thought → script → set and executed it fast. Life might be rough, but your skin doesn’t have to be. Now serious question: Also guyssss…..Should skincare consultants start doubling as therapists? 💀 Because if stress affects your skin, at some point somebody needs to hear the full story…what do you think?💀 Full credits in previous post ❤️ by @adeleke__f
Took @lojaymusic out on a first date with @spotify and we asked some questions ❤️ Producer: @chisomsays Director of photography:@Adeleke__f Production manager: @onlykene Prod company: @mainland_co by @adeleke__f
Had the privilege to document the beautiful work being done @propellaschools. As a CCI member I knew about the work being done but shooting and directing this documentary and hearing the stories of these people made me so proud to be a CCI member and I had to make a mental note to support when the time comes. The work being done here is amazing and words cannot describe it. This is LEGACY PS: I got carried away fanboying my church and its doings I forgot to say I directed, shot edited and colored this project (wore a full production hat)🤓 Thankful for @pst_iren and the head of propella schools @dawnimmanuel for the opportunity to tell this story🙏🏼. S/O to the team @ninety6ixfilmco & @thedavidinioluwa for the alleyhoop S/O @tife.niyi_ @eni_olalli my amazing cam Ops🔥 Prod company: @equinoxstudios.ng by @adeleke__f
Had the pleasure of directing a project for Truecaller, one that sparks a conversation about knowing which calls are truly worth answering. 📞✨ I can’t wait for you all to see the full story, but for now, enjoy this trailer…shot and edited by yours truly. ❤️ Take a guess: what kind of project do you think this is? 👀 by @adeleke__f
Some projects ask for more than a single role, they ask for your creative soul. For this one, I directed, shot, edited, and colored…chasing a vision that lived in my head until it came alive on screen. After several hours and days of production we brought a story to life that asks one simple but powerful question…Are you taking the right call? (Phillipians 4:13) 3months, 17 states, over 5,000 footages and 1 documentary later….and I present to you THE DOCUMENTARY. Travelled round Nigeria with the most amazing people chasing dreams and documenting stories of emerging artists here in Nigeria and it was an experience! With a slim crew I and my partner in crime @tobzy_shot_it, 1fx3 that later changed to 1Nikon ZR and a couple of prime lenses I was able to cook this beauty… Please note: If this comes across your timeline don’t forget to repost your favorite slide and tag me 👉🏽👈🏽 Director 📷: @Adeleke__f Cinematographer: @Adeleke__f Interview Cam Operator: @tife.niyi_ Art curator: @mofe_i Storytelling: @writegoodstories Narrative guide: @thejulietnnaji Edit team: @Adeleke__f @tobzy_shot_it @tife.niyi_ Color 🎨: @adeleke__f Sound design: @Adeleke__f Aerial footage: @adeleke__f @tobzy_shot_it Logistics and travel: @olufelixemeka (He drove us around the north took us to the east and brought us back…if you’re in travel documentary take note of his handle) Featuring: @nicoleasinugo @tola_akerele @mofe_i @thejulietnnaji If this comes across your timeline don’t forget to repost your favorite slide and tag me by @adeleke__f
Earlier this year I had the privilege to direct a large scale production at one of the largest event venues in sub Saharan Africa. I remembered pulling up for Reece and feeling overwhelmed but I pulled up with my team and we showed up. PS: should I do more videos like this, let me know👈🏽 by @adeleke__f
